Blurb/Summary:

Riana had almost given up hope of ever finding her lost comrades,
and friends, when the Earth-Space Initiative finally decided to send her
on a fact finding mission, almost two years after Braden and Davin had
gone missing. They figured it was finally safe.

They figured wrong.

Now Riana is stuck on a strange planet, lucky to be alive after being
sucked into a wormhole. And she wasn’t the only one stranded there; she
had found the missing pilots. With no way home, and only themselves to
answer to, they had plans for her; plans several years in the making.

Review:

All Alone In The Night is set in the future, where space travel is a common practice.

Riana goes through great efforts to mount a search party for her two best friends, Davin and Braden. When she finds them, they have been alone together on a deserted planet for two years.

Riana struggles with the attraction that she feels for both of them. But Braden and Davin make it easy for her, since they both are in love with her and have been for years.

This futuristic story turns into a hot, erotic adventure. The chemistry between the characters is wonderful. The alpha male, Braden, is tempered by the loving male, Davin. The dynamics make for an interesting ménage a trio with a little BDSM thrown into the mix.

It’s a great short story and the author does a nice job of drawing the reader into her world. Based on this story, I would seek others written by Michelle Houston!

Blurb/Summary:

Trent and Nia Connelly have been married for nearly a year and already their marriage is falling apart. Trent finally files for divorce when his wife continually pushes him away, denying them both what they need sexually.

Nia discovers too late what her fears and deceptions have wrought and now must fight to prove to Trent that they still have a marriage worth saving. When she offers herself, body and soul, as the obedient submissive he’s always desired, Trent is forced to reevaluate everything he knows about himself, his wife and their entire marriage.

Reader Advisory: This book contains a steamy scene where the hero shares his wife with his best mate—lucky girl!

Review:

Invitation to Decadence is a great story about a couple that has grown apart in their marriage due to sexual differences.

Trent is ready to end the relationship, even though he is still in love with his wife. All the while, Nia struggles with her control issues and refuses to give up on their marriage. It comes down to whether both of them can admit they played a part in the problems, and learning how to trust one another again.

The journey that Trent and Nia undertake brings out their tangible sexual chemistry. Nia wants to prove to Trent that she can be all that he needs and goes to great lengths, by pushing beyond her comfort zone.

As the reader, you easily feel Nia’s heartbreak and Trent’s frustration with the situation. Nadia Aidan has brought her characters to life in this story. I loved the ending because of the realism.

Based on this story, I would read other creations by Nadia Aidan.

Blurb/Summary:

What started as an innocent sex game turned into a wild night of swinging.

It was a special anniversary and Claire had made sure it was going to be memorable. Only, something went terribly wrong. They weren't supposed to get arrested! The only solution to the situation? Sleep their way out of it. Cops accepted sex bribes, didn't they? At least when they were off the camera, they probably did, and the cabin Claire was being driven to by officer Riley was well beyond site of cameras and civilization. What would happen in that cabin would change four lives forever.

Rating:
Carnal, voyeurism, exhibitionism, foreplay, sloppy seconds and thirds, mild bdsm, spanking, swinging, multiple partners, menage-m/f/m. Absolutely no male on male action.

Review:

Role Play is a great erotic story. It starts out extremely hot and heavy, not letting up the whole time. Even though it is a short story, there are a couple twists to it. There is also a thread of BDSM that plays well into the plot.

The author, Megan Ziese, makes the reader want to take the journey with the characters. Claire, Dylan, Riley, and Audrey are all likable and just a little bit cheeky at times.

Steamy sex scenes make this a page turner and a fun read. If you are looking for a short, steamy read then this is it!

Revenge is supposed to be sweet, but when Michael Hamming decides to take it out on the daughter of his nemesis, the sweetness is not what he expected

Blurb/Summary:

The paths of Michael Hamming, poor boy turned rich, and Karyn McDonnell, heiress turned penniless, cross during the 2008 financial crisis. Michael decides to get revenge for that old grudge he has against Karyn?s late father. Karyn is in need, alone and defenseless. In total coolness, he offers to take care of her financial problems if she becomes his girlfriend. Karyn, who always liked Michael, accepts.

Karyn's beauty and kind heart, however, conquer him, to the point that when Karyn is kidnapped, Michael takes chase, first aboard a speedboat, then riding a motorcycle to follow the clues left by the kidnappers and set her free.

As the events of October 2008 plunge the stock market into a record minimum, it is now Michael who gets in financial troubles and Karyn who goes to his rescue, trying to hide her good deed.

Review:

Fire Underneath Ice is a good story of a woman who feels abandoned by her loved ones through their deaths.

Karyn never really learned to take care of herself, and now she faces hardships that she’s ill equipped to handle. Exhausting her options, she uses her body to help pay her way and make herself feel safe again. Through the “deal” she makes with Michael, she is able to gain her financial footing again.

What neither of them expects is that they will fall in love with each other. It was not the usual romantic relationship progression. Between Michael’s need for revenge and Karyn’s abduction, we are lead on an adventure. Throughout the story, hints of their past lives surface so that we get a glimpse of what has moulded them into the people they are today.

The story has a few twists and turns that keeps the plot moving along nicely.

A magical world teetering on the edge of destruction

Blurb/Summary:

Captain Koran T knows he's in serious trouble when the King of Ru-Noc orders him to kidnap Princess Kali. He's no different than any other male of his species at mating time so the urge to breed Kali is strong. But Koran T has a dark secret of his own, one that could have him banished from the coven.

Fall under the spell of a Witch's Moon--when dark forces gather to threaten the very existence of Ru-Noc--where Princess Kali and Captain Koran cross swords in a fierce battle only a witch can win!

Review:

Tabitha Shay delivers another brilliant fantasy with Witch's Moon!

The long-standing lust/hate relationship between Princess Kali and Captain Koran is enough to keep any reader on the verge of exploding with anticipation each time they are together.

The way that this extremely headstrong witch deals with her incredibly alpha male and his responses, gives the reader plenty of laugh-out-loud opportunities as well as reason to yell “What are you thinking!” aloud while reading. Their sexual tension alone delivers enough steamy conflict to keep the reader engaged, but mix that with the turmoil brewing in Ru-Noc, as well as the hidden identities Captain Koran T holds secret, but the true identity of the Princess, and you have a book difficult to put down.

Darkness, death, and sadness are powerful forces will pull at the reader throughout the book ; but, as in her previous instalments, the familiars (futhars) and banter between the characters provide balance with their comedic dialogue.

Witch's Moon is thoroughly entertaining. I cannot recommend it as a stand-alone, however, because of its abrupt ending and deeply planted storyline. Readers, be warned, you will want to have Book Four in your possession before you read the end of Witch's Moon, because you will be so enthralled in the tale that you will not want to stop reading.

Thorough editing. Professional layout.

Review:

The book began with a bang; the action, lies, and secrets are non stop from there on.

The dialog was both humorous and emotional. The sexual tension began almost instantly, and only grew more intense as you read along. The cover was quite intriguing and eye-catching.

I was not expecting the ending, but left satisfied. This was a very pleasurable, fast paced read. The kind of book you don't want to read alone late at night.

If you are looking for a great romantic suspense read? Pick up A Diamond In a Rose. You may just enjoy it- I know that I did.

Fall under the spell of Witch's Heart-where Sage and Hannah discover love has a magic all its own . . .

Blurb/Summary:

Hannah Miller is starting over-new life, new location, and the grand opening of the Sugar 'N' Spice bakery with her best friend, Kirrah Walker. But Hannah soon discovers Sanctuary is not small town America. Trapped in a world of magic where humans are considered aliens-Hannah soon becomes the target of a waken assassin.

The male witch, Sage, is sent to terminate Hannah, the impertinent human who has dared to enter their sacred realm. Sage usually complies with the guild's orders, but he faces this assignment with dread. He hasn't forgotten what took place at the Salem witch trials in 1692 and has vowed to avoid all mortals-until he sees Hannah for the first time.
Caught up in the immortal conflict sweeping across Ru-Noc, the star-crossed lovers wage a different kind of war that set off more sparks than a witch's wand. . .

Review:

Only wonderful words for the Winslow Witches!!! Tabitha Shay proves her true talent in this, book two, of the Winslow Witch Series.

Witch's Heart is a roller coaster of emotion, action, adventure, and fantasy. The banter between the characters (especially between Sage and Dinka) provides the comedic relief throughout as true identities and intentions are revealed.

From the beginning, when Sage finds himself lost and powerless in a desert (a place he tends to think it worse than Hell) and is bitten by a rattlesnake in his, well....um.... “nether-regions”, the reader will be bitten by Witch's Heart.

As Sage sets out in his mission to kill Hannah, the danger and conflict builds as does his desire for the very being he has been ordered to assassinate. Despite the evil nature of his role, he is the least of the villains in this tale. Just as in the very first book, the vileness of the anti-heroes makes the heroine and her warlock that much more easy to fall in love with.

The relationship between Sage and Hannah develops from physical attraction at first sight to a deep, conflicted, and very romantic storyline that leads nicely into the climax of the book that will give the reader the surprises that Tabitha Shay is known for delivering.

This book is sensual and explicit. The language is, at times, dark as well as descriptive.

This book can be read out of series order or even as a stand alone but I highly recommend reading after Witch's Brew, simply for history and entertainment value.

catches the woman who's become his obsession and Kane becomes consumed by
a desire that overwhelms everything...including his quest for justice.

Consequences don't matter and distraction isnÆt an option. Until she finds
herself face to face with the pair of green eyes that have been haunting
her day and night. Time is of the essence as the tables are turned and a
tenuous truce is formed.

In the face of passion enemies become lovers, tempting fate, testing
trust, and satisfying an undeniable need. Lies and secrets. Corruption and
Revenge. Choices that change lives. Don't miss the revelation...of Kane.

Review:

Kane is an incredibly erotic and sizzling hot story. It has a great plot line that takes you on a wild ride through twists and turns with lots of surprises and hints at future surprises that just make this a fun read.

The suspense and plot twists build the tangible sexual tension between Kane and Lara. Their romantic progression is quite entertaining and not to be missed. Lara is one tough chick not to be messed with and Kane is one sexy alpha male that likes to get his way. Together they learn that love is better than revenge and being in charge. Fortunately for us, their learning curve is high and the crazy antics that ensue make this a page turner.

It is impossible not to connect with these characters and feel with them. The author did a wonderful job.

It said “The End”, but I refuse to believe that. I can’t wait for the next story!

This book was a sequel and I didn’t get a chance to read the previous book, but after reading this I will most definitely have to check it out.

Blurb/Summary:

With a temper to match her flaming hair, an argumentative streak a mile wide, and a curvy full-figured shape, Regina is a vavavoom sexpot.

A lot of good it does her with men.

Her 36-Ds intimidate nice guys and draw creeps out of the woodwork. Frustrated and hurting after a recent breakup with her apathetic boyfriend, she decides to shake up her boring life by vacationing solo in Europe.

First stop: the Tower of London.

She’s minding her own business, doing the sightseeing routine at the tourist trap, when she’s stalked, then captured by some twisted weirdo who actually thinks he’s a medieval warrior from Norman times. After introducing himself as Lord Raven, he drags her to his castle bedchamber, where he strips her naked and ties her up like a rump roast. And he’s acting starved. Then, he starts talking trash, something about making her his mate.

His mate! This, to a feminist! What will her girls back home think?

Just her friggin’ luck, the kinky abduction scenario really does it for her, and she falls for him hard. Until--he starts spouting a whole lot of crap about Time Travel.

As soon as she unlocks her lips from his, she’s so outta there.

Maybe.

Review:

Thyme was a very unique story. It has a time traveling war lord and a sexually-frustrated 21st century feminist. Bertran kidnaps Regina and brings her back to his time, confident he can win her love. The language barrier alone had me laughing out loud. Not to mention that Bertran/Lord Raven, as a medieval warrior, gave BDSM a whole new twist!

Regina is a wonderful character that was easy to connect to as a reader. She has trouble getting out of her head, her own way to enjoy the moment. Once she masters herself, Regina can finally admit what she really wants.

Bertran and Regina’s sexual exploits are hot and erotic. The author puts Girout, Bertran’s friend to good use in the bedroom. Girout is a great additional character that spices up the story.

Bertran and Regina have a fantastic relationship progression with a happy ending. This is a great story and a fun read!

Star Holiday never paid much attention to her father’s claims that their family was descended from the Celtic spirits of the seasons—and she certainly never expected to turn into a rabbit every time she stepped foot outside her family’s cabin on the weekend of the spring equinox. Now all she can do is stay holed up with her sexy-as-sin ex-boyfriend, Theo Morgan, until the magic goes away.

Or maybe the magic is just beginning as the former lovers have time alone to rekindle old passions and even ignite some new ones.

Review:

Like Bunnies is a great paranormal romance story. Star and Theo have amazing chemistry and history together that really shines through.

The author took something as funny as a were-bunny, turning it into a story where two people led separate lives, only needing a little more time to come together.

Star and Theo get to explore each other’s minds and bodies this time around. They also get to experience some self-actualization and the importance of compromising.

This story is humorous, sexy, and fun! Based on this story, I would check out other stories by Cindy Spencer Pape.

No good deed goes unpunished… And no one knows that better than Tisha Nichols, who, out of the kindness of her heart, agrees to style the hair of her nine-year-old neighbor Cami, so the little girl can look good for picture day. Unfortunately, Cami’s adoptive Uncle is far from grateful. In fact he’s down right livid…and far too attractive for Tisha’s peace of mind.
Love thy neighbor… Is easier said than done, especially when the neighbor in question is a sexy little spitfire who gives even better than she gets. Although Jonah is not the type to say he’s sorry, even he can admit when he’s wrong. But the ongoing fight to win custody of Cami has made him cautious and mistrustful of people, even those as desirable as Tisha.

What starts as a misunderstanding turns out to be one of the best things to ever happen to them. Unfortunately, not everyone is as thrilled, and Jonah and Tisha must decide if their newly formed family is something worth fighting for.

Review:

When I begin reading a book, I never know what to expect. I tried to stay neutral until I'd read far enough into a book to come to a decision.

Such is the case with Something Worth Fighting For. It didn't take me very long at all to be blown away. It is written so beautifully and with such emotion. This is one of those stories that will stay with me long after the last word is read.

It is a story about a man who mistrusts most people, especially during a custody battle, and a woman who speaks her mind. The spark and sexual tension between these two stars are immediate.

Now throw in a sweet young girl who brought them together, a woman who will stop at nothing to take the child away from her Uncle and an interracial relationship. Not to mention scorching love scenes that took my breath away.

The author writes this story with such passion. I highly recommend this book, and I will for sure be seeking other titles from Lena Matthews.

Review:

Butterfly Kisses was a really nice romance story between an older woman and younger man. The romance between Susan and Tony was not without bumps in the road. The plot had great twists an turns that kept me turning the pages.

The secondary characters, Renee and Scott, are great and add humor and fun to the story. The characters were well developed and likable.

The editing was a bit distracting, as there was an entire blank page in the beginning of the book.

However, the editing did not take away from the great story. The sex scenes were beautiful and caring. Lizzie Leaf really knows how to get the reader to care about her characters and what happens to them.

This story is a great addition to the cougar club!

It's going to take every resource he possesses--even those he fought hard

Review:

Repertoire Cardiff is a fantastic short story. It has a little of everything. The story is set in the future, within a fantasy world, containing paranormal creatures. The main characters, Vincent and Devon, are a dragon and vampire, respectively.

Vincent and Devon have a steamy erotic romance going on. We don’t get to see the romance evolve because they have already been together for a few years. However, their love for each other is evident throughout the story and is heart-warming.

The story itself is very creative and imaginative. Since the story is short it is easily read in a sitting. The plot keeps moving, includes a few twists, and doesn’t let you down. Mychael Black did a great job fitting in romance, sex scenes, a fantasy world, fight scenes, and humor.

A romantic tale mixed with mystery and intrigue...

It had me guessing until the very end. While at times, the story jumped around a bit, the ending wrapped up very well. Written with emotion and good description, this author is one to watch. I would read more from D.G. Novak!

While a standalone, Divine Redemption is a loose sequel to Death’s

Blurb/Summary:

Their connection was instant, their attraction intense. Reincarnated souls reunited though neither consciously realize the depth of their bond. Temperance and Demetri love each other. Lust after each other. But a third waits, someone who will complete an already near-perfect union.

Thanos wronged them in a previous existence and, as the mortal son of Dionysus, was punished for it by the Fates. He’s had lifetimes to repent, eons to witness the rebirths and deaths of the two people who have come to mean everything to him.

Now the Moirae have finally reunited the three of them, giving Thanos a chance to rekindle an ancient flame. For their part, Tempe and Demetri must choose him freely. While Thanos must avoid retracing old steps—and betraying his lovers once again.

Review:

I didn’t get to read Death’s Courtship which is a prequel to Divine Redemption, but it really wasn’t necessary. Divine Redemption is a great story all on its own. The author’s blub/summary before the beginning of the story lays out the background and history of the characters and their relationships.

Divine Redemption dives right into the meat of the story with Temperance and Demetri in a steamy shower scene. While they have wonderful chemistry on their own, they feel like they are missing someone to make them complete. Then enters Thanos and his relationships, both past and present, with Temperance and Demetri get revealed. Fate and choices play out to give the plot a little twist.

The sex scenes between the three are erotic and hot, hot, hot! The author did a great job making you feel for the characters so that the scenes also felt loving and protective of one another. A well written ménage a trois.

Divine Redemption is quick and short, unfortunately, because when you get done you’ll yearn for more!

This is a story that you won’t put down until it’s done!

Blurb/Summary:

Dr. Zellia Calderon journeys across Colombia to find the lab and the answers that have plagued her for six years. Her only problem is trying to lose the handsome man called Blade who insists on tagging along. He’s too sexy, too male, and too hot for her. He makes her burn with a passion that she’s never known.

Blade’s wolf recognizes Zellia as his mate and knows that she has a secret that she won’t share with him. But with two attempts on her life, he’s determined to keep her safe and hopes she learns to trust him. The only thing harder than keeping his mate alive is keeping his hands off her.

But when Zellia is kidnapped, will Blade reach his mate in time to save her life and the secret that she’s waited six years to find?

Review:

Zellia’s Blade is a fast-paced action story with weapons and danger. The beginning of the story is action packed. We get to know the characters as the story unfolds and the plot continues to reveal itself. There is some humor mixed in with the action and budding romance between Blade and Zellia.

The paranormal aspect of the story gives us some suspense. Between the action and the suspense the plot twists, leading us on to see what comes next. It was very hard to put down.

Blade and Zellia’s sex scenes are erotic. The chemistry between them is an on again/off again mixture as Blade tries to win over Zellia.

The story is packed full of alpha males and all that entails, especially protectiveness. It’s always fun to read about alpha males getting all mushy around babies!

This was a fun read with good editing!

Blurb/Summary:

Jake Korte is emotionally broken. Angry. Hurt. Worthless. Fearing that he will become the abuser his father was, the last thing he needs is a woman in his life. He feels like a virtual time bomb just waiting for the internal explosion. So when tiny Rebecca Saylor “chats” her way into his life and then crawls under his skin, panic descends. He can’t seem to stay away, but is terrified to be with her.

After surviving an abusive marriage, Becca isn’t looking for love, only safety. But through her research for her column “Chat Addiction”, she meets Jake, who is anything but safe. He’s the one man who can make her feel alive again. But can she overcome her own fears to claw her way into the heart of a man so fractured?

Review:

Rough Edges is a great story with good editing. Ashlynn Pearce makes use of modern technology and slang, which has the reader feeling like they are listening to friends chat away.

Jake and Becca are extremely likable characters that just burn up the pages with their hot chemistry. Their relationship is an emotional rollercoaster with some great twists and turns. The sex scenes are amazingly descriptive, erotic, and sensual. They were really well written.

Tony and Summer, Jake and Becca’s friends, also bring to the story joy, laughter, and fun.

It’s a wonderful story for an evening read that leaves you feeling happy!

Blurb/Summary:

Katrina Jamieson didn't have time for a man in her life, much less a cowboy. She's not about to give up her career as a fighter pilot for anything. Zipping amongst the clouds at 40,000 feet is her dream and being the best pilot the Force has ever seen, encompasses her days.

Justin Wilder, cattle rancher and all around gorgeous hunk, doesn't need the feisty Katrina in the middle of his world. He does just fine, thank you very much, taking care of his cows and building his ranch, but he can't seem to forget her after she slams her brand new, Mustang GT 500 KR into the side of his truck.

When their worlds collide, sparks fly and these two are so hot, skin sizzles when they touch. Can their attraction stand the test of time or will it burn out faster than the afterburners of her jet?

Review:

Book three in the Wild Series by Sandy Sullivan lacked the emotional intensity of the first two books.

The characters were well developed and the plot keeps the reader turning the pages, but the story felt forced at times. I was disappointed that there was not as much connection and interaction between the Wilder family members that made the first two so charming.

The story was set in a different state. Ms. Sullivan tried incorporating family in by having the younger sister come for a visit but Abby is the gel that holds the series together.

When they come face-to-face again, he can’t walk away, not from Jamie nor from his daughter. Will they be able to get past the disappointments and tears to rekindle their love or will old hurts kill the feelings that still linger in their hearts?

Review:

Book Four, in the Wild Series is as spellbinding as the first two books in the series. The reader is pulled in to the loveable, witty, and sometimes heartbreaking life of the youngest Wild sibling.

I did get annoyed with the child who is suppose to be nine turning ten years old in the story. The child spoke as if she was fifteen years old on topics that most nine year olds would not know about.

Ms. Sullivan needs to recalculate the gestation time of humans. She kept stating it had been nine years since the parents saw each other. In actuality it would have been ten or eleven years, since the Father was gone as soon as the pregnancy was known.

Overall, if you are a fan of Ms. Sullivan’s Wild Series you will not be disappointed learn Jamie’s story.
