Tagline: Step Into My World Where the Impossible Becomes Reality

Blurb/Summary:

Everybody falls in love and everyone gets hurt. Alyssa Kendall is no different. But what would you do if the love of your life was being held captive by a psychopath? How far would you go? Alyssa finds out just how far she’ll go for love, revenge and peace of mind. She’s not Torn between two men, but between the two halves of herself. Which half will win? Find out in Torn.

Review:

Torn by Raven Starr had layers of conflict. From the beginning I was pulled in by the pseudo charm of the Hero Julian. After he left her, I felt her pain and inability to gain a level of trust with another man.

Christian felt off to me. After hearing of his first betrayal of trust, I hoped he’d keep his slimy self away from Alyssa.

I fell in love with Kurt and Mo, and Charlie after he apologized. When Julian came back into her life a so called changed man, I wasn’t sure he was worthy of a second chance. But he did prove himself and kept on taking brutal punishment from Alyssa.

I wasn’t prepared for the twist with the law enforcement who failed to protect the needy. Still our hero didn’t give up and our heroine decided to take matters into her own hands to protect her love and family. This story is chock full of suspense, terror, love and sacrifice. I’d recommend it to my friends.

Blurb/Summary:

Fleeing New York City after a divorce and the trauma of witnessing a fatal robbery, New Englander Jemma Abbott finds herself stranded in a North Dakota snowstorm with an enigmatic stranger. Lawman Wyatt Kelly doesn't believe Jemma's claim that she's in North Dakota to visit an old friend and her fiancé, who just happens to be Wyatt's cousin. Too much about her story doesn't make sense. Despite Wyatt's suspicions and Jemma's reluctance to get romantically involved again, the two are drawn together by an almost irresistible attraction.

Their encounter is cut short when Wyatt's cousin is severely injured in a hit-and-run. When Wyatt realizes the hit-and-run was no accident, but rather the result of a murderous conspiracy that has Jemma in its crosshairs, he rushes to Boston to protect her and bring the perpetrators to justice. But neither friends nor foes are precisely what they seem...

Review:

Saving Jemma by Pamela Loewy snagged me from the get-go. The beginning exploded with fast paced action and kept me suspecting what would occur next. I felt for Jemma when she traveled so far and ended up in a less-than-desirous situation. Wyatt really scared me in his intro. I wasn’t sure what type of character he was.

Twists from there kept me on edge. I noticed the spark of attraction between Wyatt and Jemma and remained hopeful they’d combust. Their attraction didn’t deter from their surroundings or those responsible for multiple felony acts. I hoped they’d catch the villain and cohorts red handed. Wyatt was the perfect protector with his vast experience. I found his wary heart endearing and loved the byplay between him and Jemma. This book would be one I’d read again.

Blurb/Summary:

Book 2 in the Night Seekers series.

As a shifter, Mark Guitron is uniquely equipped to search for the devil beast, El Chupacabra, and stop the horrible killings. Hunting one night by moonlight, he spots another wolf whose aura tells him she is also a shifter. When he’s visited by an erotic vision of her in human form, he knows he must find her and make her his own.

Chloe Hanson is searching for a friend she’s convinced is a victim of the devil beast. When she meets Mark, she feels a primal tug that tells her they are meant to be together. As they join forces in the hunt, they soon learn that sex between them feeds a need, rather than slaking it. The multiple orgasms barely satisfy their lust for each other, and as they draw closer to their prey, their fiercest coupling is yet to come.

Review:

Shape-shifters, erotic visions, and a mysterious creature dubbed “The Devil Beast,” oh my! Ready for some fast paced shape-shifting romance? You get it right here.

Desiree Holt uses every sense to describe the emotions and feelings of the characters, therefore the reader feels like they are right in the middle of the scene. Add in some breathtaking love scenes, suspense, and mystery and that sums up Lust By Moonlight. It is the second book in a series, and I will definitely be looking for the first. Reading Mark and Chloe's story engaged me from the start. The sexual tension between the two is hotter than the desert in summertime.

If you like shape-shifter wolf books, then check out Lust By Moonlight, a great read!

Jewels of the Night Series

Lexie Cortese is in Rome to forget. The last thing she expects is to meet a sexy Interpol agent who suspects her of being part of a terrorist plot involving a stolen diamond. Suddenly thrust into a world of murders, muggings, and kidnappings, Lexie doesn’t know what to think—or who to believe.

Dominic Brioni’s assignment is simple. Befriend the American and bring her to justice. Only Lexie seems like the most unlikely terrorist Dominic has ever met. Sweet, determined, and direct, she faces life with courage and fire, a fire that sparks his protective instincts and a longing for something more—something he allowed himself to hope for only once before.

But that woman betrayed him, and his boss isn’t about to let him forget it. With his career on the line and Lexie in danger, will Dominic learn to trust his heart before they both get killed?

Review:

All Lexie wanted was a relaxing vacation. What she got was another story. There were muggings, purse snatching, murders, and more. And meeting Dominic made her feel safe, or did he? He thought she was someone else, and he didn't tell Lexie the truth.

Murder, Mi Amore is an exciting adventure. Top notch romantic suspense! The whole plot of “they aren't who the other thinks they are” is always a blast to read about. With great pace, plenty of action, and sizzling tension, Cara Marsi creates an amazing suspense! And the setting, in Rome, I loved it!

If you like romantic suspense novels full of emotion, murder, intrigue and secrets, then Murder, Mi Amore is a book to add to your list.

Blurb/Summary:

Get ready for another collection of stories on relationships from master storyteller, Piers Anthony.

From one of the best known names in fiction comes this fourth unique collection of stories about relationships--some intense, some sexual, some mild, some shockers.

This collection is intended for mature, thoughtful readers who care more about character and idea than adventure. A must for Anthony fans.

Warning: This work contains one scene of non-consensual sex.

Review:

Relationships 4 by Piers Anthony is a must read for anyone tired of the same perfect boy meets beautiful girl and they live happily ever after style romance tale. In Relationships 4, Piers explores the grittier side of sexual relations with couples who are not even close to perfect. Many of the tales are rather short and can be read easily in a sitting. While this collection is not for those looking for fairy tale romance, if what you’ve been missing is something grittier and perhaps truer to life, Piers’ stories may be just what you’ve been looking for.

Here you will find tales of an unattractive larger sized female prisoner and her unusually endowed prison guard. A young, untried male and four forty- something female friends on a week’s vacation tell their story. An unlikely pair with years between them, who share an unusual phobia, find ways to re-enter the world. Writers block is attacked from a new perspective and conception prevented in a novel manner. The stories are well written and sometimes thought provoking. Many of the characters allow the reader a glimpse inside of their heads.

This trip to the other side, as it were, is worth taking. While some of the tales are almost shocking, they throw a light into otherwise darkened corridors. Piers Anthony’s Relationships 4 is a wonderful read for anyone looking for something a bit “bad side of town.” If Cinderella is what is on your mind, this is the wrong place to be. However, if what you want is a bit nastier, something truly original, this might just be your perfect read.

Blurb/Summary:

Book 2 in the Power and Pain series

Stephen just needs a little time to himself. He’s tired of sharing every emotion with everyone in Sanctuary. He longs for privacy so he leaves the clan enclave. When Stephen is attracted to a human woman who likes rough sex, he decides to ignore all the rules he’s been taught.

Darla stands tied to a tree at an isolated campsite. She’s always longed to explore her dark side with a strong, dominant man. Stephen is sexy as hell, but he’s hard and controlling. She’s starting to question her decision to meet him in this isolated spot. He might be more than she can handle.

Stephen knows it’s dangerous, but really, this is something he does very well. What could be the harm in fulfilling Darla’s BDSM fantasies? He just has to maintain control of his powerful sexuality—not go too far—and he can show her how a little pain can enhance her pleasure.

Review:

Outside Sanctuary is an intense erotic story with a BDSM element. Stephen leaves Sanctuary to find some peace and quiet in his own head. Instead he meets Darla, a human. The attraction is instantaneous for both of them.

Darla’s tired of safe and gentle sex. She’s looking for someone that can take control and give it to her rough. Stephen’s so excited that he’s found a human that shares his desires for rough sex. In fact, he’s so excited he continually ignores all his clan rules.

Stephen finds out the rules are there for a reason, but he lets Darla share in his world for a little while. Their sex scenes are hot, erotic, and descriptive. I found the ending to be realistic of a one night stand or quickie.

Cyna Kade did a nice job with this short story about a clan member’s exploration beyond Sanctuary.

Blurb/Summary:

Single mother Annika lives a safe existence centered around her five-year-old daughter, a little imp who is growing up faster than Annika wants to admit.

Cameron is a widower working constant overtime to cover for a partner on leave, which leaves no time for his five-year-old daughter, let alone a social life.

But then Cameron has no interest in the women focused on his long eyelashes, the fit of his jeans, and the size of his paycheck, and Annika has steered clear of the turmoil of relationships ever since her divorce. Are the two destined to remain single?

Perhaps…

Until the Halloween moon when Cameron crosses paths with the bewitching single mother of his daughter’s best friend, and aweekend of mischief, masquerade and magic convinces Annika to take a chance on love.

Review:

Under A Halloween Moon is a wonderful and sweet story. It’s a story about taking chances and braving the unknown when it comes to love and life.

The devoted single father, Cameron, and the equally devoted single mother, Annika, find that second chances do come along. Now they just have to be brave enough to act on their second chance.

This story takes place over a couple days in which they first meet and interact because of their daughters. We don’t learn much about their background stories because the focus is on the present and what the future might bring.

I found myself smiling and laughing at the little girls’ antics. Beverly Breton did a nice job of writing a light-hearted story that leaves the reader with hope and a smile.

Blurb/Summary:

A war has left his people on the brink of extinction; Drystan Commander of the King's Warriors will turn to any means necessary to save his people.

Jane, an ordinary woman of Earth, falls into the strange land of muscle bound, sword wielding men, unlike she has ever seen and what's worse they seem to want her!

Could this woman be the savior of their people? Savior or not Drystan knows what he wants, and he wants Jane.

As the passion starts to sizzle evil forces threaten to tear them apart, can Drystan hold onto the woman not only he needs but his people?

Review:

Blue Fire will have you glued to the pages. Once I started, I couldn’t stop. The story is creative and will spark your imagination. However, the editing is a bit distracting and needs to be fine tuned.

The love story between Drystan and Jane is entrancing and will leave you wanting more. It’s hard not to fall in love with the courageous and smart Jane and the tough but soft-hearted Drystan. Blue Fire is filled with action in and out of the bedroom.

Even though the premise for the story is sad, there is much humor between these pages. Angela Castle did all Earth women, especially not a size zero, a great service when creating her character Jane and the Kell women.

Angela Castle leaves room in the storyline for future visits to this new world. I am looking forward to the next storyline that is set up at the end of the book and will be checking back on this author and her creations.

This is a great read for any science fiction romance fans.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play/intercourse, menage (m/f/m), violence.

Review:

Paranormals are my absolutely favorite books to read. Suzanne Rock is one of my top paranormal writers to read. She amazes me with her talent and storylines. Each book is new, fresh, and different.

Gwen is a strong, independent woman, she is a heroine every girl wants to be and every man lusts to be with. She knows what she wants, she accepts her powers and it makes her stronger. Nico and Tony are two strong men, very sexy and charming. Witty and romantic and very rough around the edges. They are two men all women dream of having around.

These three characters bring the story to life, as I’m reading I can see the scenes playing out in my head. I felt like I was watching a movie not reading a book. Not many authors have such a vivid imagination where they can create a masterpiece that draws you into the story as if you were the heroine, hero, or someone watching this movie play out from the sidelines. Ms. Rock has that ability she never fails her readers, she delivers every time.

Series: Art of Love

When Stephanie’s art teacher issues a challenge—create a painting based only on the torso of a human sculpture—she decides to paint aRegency lord. But with his muscular body, longer hair and a few well-placed scars, Stephanie’s lord is definitely no Regency dandy. Her best work ever, the painting stirs an obsession Stephanie can’t explain. Not content to wait for the next class, she visits the art center, just to get a peek at her lord. She touches the painting…

And suddenly finds herself in a bedroom in 1817 London, her lord standing behind her—very real, very naked and very ready to end Stephanie’s sexual dry spell.

Before she can say “ton”, Stephanie’s indulging her desires with Gabriel, dressing in the height of Regency fashion and meeting the Prince Regent. But life in 1817 isn’t all tea and crumpets. Stephanie soon learns she’s reliving her past life—one that ended tragically. Thrust in the middle of a sinister plot, she must save the prince, save Gabriel…and if she’s luckier this time around, save herself.

Review:

I was instantly captivated in this storyline. Ms. Roberts has a way with her words to draw her readers into a deep trance and have them reading the story beginning to end in anticipation of what is going to happen next.

I love stories that give the heroine a chance to right any wrongs she may have or an opportunity to relive their lives. The only thing about this story I had a problem with was it was a little too predictable. You know the ending before you read it. And of course there was a fairy godmother. But it is a sweet, charming read that I would recommend to anyone wanting to read a romance for the ages.

Blurb/Summary:

It was never fun to wake up after being dead, but for Willow, it was a regular occurrence. How exactly do you explain to the hunky fire fighter that dragged your corpse from a burnt out of building that you’re not really dead? Even after 1000 years, Willow still didn’t have a good answer for that. It makes things even more awkward to have the conversation while standing in the morgue, wearing only a sheet! This time though, she knows she just might be in trouble.

Marcus Bennington, the hunky fire fighter in question, thinks he has a pretty open mind, but is not quite sure what to make of the naked beauty asking for his help to escape the morgue. Determined to get answers from the elusive woman, he helps spring her and refuses to budge from her side until she confesses all. When events take a turn for the worse and one of his best friends accidentally shoots Willow, they all get to see firsthand that Willow is not your normal girl next door.

Meanwhile, with a serial arsonist stepping up his game and killing women who look just like Willow and Marc’s amorous persuasion to contend with, Willow is having a hard time remembering why it’s better to avoid personal entanglements.

Rating: Spicy. The heroine is emaciated due to her 'rebirth' process.

Review:

How could the woman not be dead? For that matter, how could she be pulled from a burning building and not have any burns on her body? It's puzzling, bizarre. No one would ever believe it in a million years, and yet, there Marc was, staring in amazement and wondering. Then he's face to face with Willow, actually...talking to her? It's a strange world.

The premise of this is really intriguing, and the first chapter was definitely a catchy eye opener. However, fiction or not, paranormal or not, I did feel that Marc jumped the gun too soon in wanting to take Willow to bed. That is a bit beyond the realm of believability for me.

The author has created a unique plot and storyline that drew me in. The dialogue witty and fun, lots of suspense and intrigue. If you like paranormal reads, then you may want to check out Leanne Will's Playing with Fire. I enjoyed it and would look at other works by this author.

Class of '85 Series

Kate Abbott isn’t looking for excitement and is perfectly content with the secure life she’s built in Seattle, even if her son thinks she’s in an uninspired rut. Former rock star Tyler North has no intention of shaking up his life on the Montana ranch where he fled years before to escape the ravages of fame and fortune. Neither plan to attend their 25 year high school reunion in Summerville, but fate throws them together on a lonely road, leading them on a journey of discovery.

From the majesty of Yellowstone to the shores of Lake Ontario, Kate and Tyler fight unexpected attractions and old insecurities. Their journey is full of surprises and odd twists. From bison and bears to a deep crevasse and a crazy old man, they work together to overcome the obstacles in their path. But will these two opposites be able to put aside fear of change and rejection to take a chance on the promise of love?

Review:

Lonely Road To You by Jannine Gallant was an amazing read. When I first began reading it, I had no idea that Kate and Tyler would have such an amazing adventure together. I got a chance to see that previous marriages don’t always end up on the battlefield and that there is a thing as amicable parting.

I felt so bad for Tyler when he recounted what caused him to quit doing the career he loved so much. At the same time his selfless decision to quit really made my heart pitter-patter for him even more.

Kate is a great character. I enjoyed how she perceived things and didn’t act out on her wants, like she wanted to. It made the journey all the sweeter. The twist with the old man really threw me for a loop and once again the true measure of a man was shown with Tyler and his reaction. When the couple finally made it to the reunion, I thought it couldn’t get any sweeter until the end.

This read is one I’d recommend to my friends.

When Edmund invites Nicholas to a secret and very private “Gentleman’s Club” Nicholas doesn’t know what to think. “It doesn’t sound like my kind of club,” he says, and yet somehow he finds himself at the worn and weathered door to the mysterious club.

Once inside Nicholas finds himself exposed to a world he could never have imagined. A world where each man is hotter than the last. Where every sexual desire, every fantasy, is fulfilled. There is nothing taboo and the word ‘no’ is not allowed. It truly seems like paradise.

But the club holds a deadly secret.

There are no free lunches. If ever there was an adage that was 100% true it is this one. Nicholas makes a shocking discovery and Mr. Edmund Phillips is at the very heart of it. Suddenly Paradise doesn’t seem quite so apt a name for the exclusive club. And when he is caught talking to the coat check boy about what he has found he wishes he had never met the charismatic Mr. Phillips. Never enjoyed the pleasures of Club Paradise. Never gone behind the waterfall.

Review:

Club Paradise is erotica and horror mixed into one twisted tale! It is a quick and fast paced story with extremely strong and descriptive sex scenes.

The undertones for the Garden of Eden are evident, but instead of the apple it is virile young men and greed. The story has a wicked plot twist near the end that was unexpected. It’s hard not to feel bad for Toby and Nick, but they took part in paradise and paid the price.

Club Paradise will keep you interested from beginning to end. However, please take the publisher’s “warning” seriously when deciding if this is the story for you.

Valentine’s Heart is a quick, fun, and endearing read. Valentine Holiday is a smart and thoughtful man that falls hard for the beautiful and hard working Corazon Lopez. Corazon can’t help but fall in love with the man that holds her heart.

The two share chemistry and love for life that comes through in the story. Their love scenes are sensual and erotic. This is a fast paced tale that is very complimentary to Cindy Spencer Pape’s previous Holiday Family stories.

This is a must read for any Cindy Spencer Pape fans. You won’t want to miss out on the youngest Holiday falling in love.
