Tess Janver and Cole Cavanaugh fell deeply in love in college ... then he disappeared without a word. She feared the worst, or thought she had. After seven years, he returns as a beefed up version of his former self. That's not the only thing different. As someone working in a preternatural criminal investigation unit and the daughter of a senator determined to rid the world of dangerous shifters, Tess is caught between performing her duty to humans, protecting the only family she has left and risking her heart to a man who once destroyed it.

Cole had no choice in becoming a Gallize shifter, a secret group of apex predators at the top of the food chain for their kind, and now faces a deadline from a fatal mating curse he can't stop. The only woman he's ever loved is human and wouldn't survive bonding with him. He never planned on Tess finding out he was a wolf shifter, but she's in danger from a rogue pack. He's not leaving until she's safe ... and he has a chance to redeem himself in her eyes before his time is up.

Enjoy a fast-paced, high-action romantic tale. Each book in the series is a stand-alone.

Review:

Dianna Love just gave readers a new world to play in!  This was a fantastic start to a new series and had everything a reader could hope for: ancient curses, descendants from druids, secret shifter group, government conspiracy, politics, a hunky hero, and a beautiful heroine.  What more could you want?  A plot you say, no worries, Ms. Love provided a solid plot with a steady pace too.

Gray Wolf Mate is a paranormal romantic tale of Tess Janver and Cole Cavanaugh.  These two characters have a sad history together that has caused a lot of trust issues for Tess and agony for Cole.  This story will take you through their reunion and all the troubles that they encounter along the way.  Between their jobs, their families, and the government, these two have a rough ride.

Ms. Love knows how to make you care and feel for her characters through her writing.  The good guys are great and you want them to survive and win.  The bad guys are so evil it’s hard not to get upset while you are reading.  It was worth the emotional rollercoaster ride!

 Blurb/Summary:

Esther Williams Sanchez is busy living her life the way she’s always done. Spending time with her pets, working as a divorce mediator, and enjoying her newly renovated cottage on the beach.

She’s also decided it’s high time she learn how to swim to prepare for an upcoming cruise. It’s time to let go of a horrible past experience and take some lessons.
So at thirty-two, Esther enrolls in the only class at the Y with a spot left. A Mommy and Me class—which seems quite tame, considering her oldest classmate aside from her is three-years-old.

Learn to swim with a bunch of babies and toddlers? Easy-squeezy, right? Er, no. As Esther leaves the pool after her very first lesson, she sprouts a magnificent tail and fins. Oh, and hair the color of a rainbow. Lots and lots of luscious hair.

Lucky for her, the OOPS girls are on site, and as they set about finding out how this happened to Esther, they run into a hunky Australian merman named Tucker Pearson who happens to be the key to Esther’s problem. But Tucker has problems of his own, and they include being kicked out of his family’s bottled water company, booted from his pod, and accused of embezzling over a million bucks.

Oh, and killing someone… OOPS, here we go again!

Review:

I think that the concept of a mermaid that can’t swim is hysterical.  Dakota Cassidy does a nice job of integrating the OOPS ladies into this accidental making during the Mommy and Me swim class, letting us know that Nina, Marty, and Wanda are carrying on with their lives.

Esther Williams Sanchez is a complex character that I really enjoyed, but I felt that she got overshadowed by Tucker’s problems.  His problems turn into hers once certain facts come to life in the story.  We don’t get to see how Esther would manage her mediator job while juggling a tail and fins.  Would it interfere with her cases?  Nothing else is mentioned about the cruise later in the book which was the whole reason to take the swim lessons to begin with.

The main plot line of the story revolves around Tucker, his problems, and a murder mystery.  The mystery brings Esther and Tucker closer together with the help of the OOPS family.  However, the justice served in the end does not take into account or address the police that were involved.  How were they taken care of?

Esther’s journey to become a mermaid and discover her new abilities is entertaining.  Dakota Cassidy is very creative with Esther’s Mermaid powers.  The story overall is enjoyable.  It is right on track with the other Accidental books in that Esther is made a part of the OOPS family.

I hope that we get to see more of Esther and Tucker in future books.  I would like to know what the future holds for the two of them.  Perhaps they will lend aid during another Accidental making where some of the loose ends from this book can be wrapped up.  We need to find out how old Tucker really is!

Review:

The Belador Series is like a fabulous fantasy/paranormal soap opera and readers are left on pins and needles waiting for the next episode.

Dianna Love knows how to keep her readers entertained and engaged.  I’m thankful that her imagination is out of this world because it makes for some incredible stories.

Belador Cosaint is the story around Quinn locating his hidden daughter.  However, it’s never that easy.  Every power player in the paranormal world wants to locate Quinn’s daughter to use for their own sick, twisted plans.

Quinn finds help in an unsuspecting friend.  He’s still wary of Reese since she bailed without a word in Atlanta, but there is something compelling about her that he can’t let go.

Quinn and Reese’s interests are aligned in the fact that they both want Quinn’s daughter, Phoedra, safe.  Quinn’s quest becomes a journey with Reese at his side fighting with him and for him.  Being together brings out the best in each of them.

There is a little bit of history in this book so if you need a refresher on some issues you’ll get it.  There is also a romantic relationship that develops between Quinn and Reese which shouldn’t be a surprise based on the previous book.  However, I found this to tend toward more hard-core paranormal action.  So fear not all you fantasy fans!

There are so many plot twists and surprises throughout Belador Cosaint.  If you’re a Belador fan this is a don’t miss book!
