Review:
The main characters Torin and Sky are tasked with catching a serial killer. This story is non-stop action with great plot twists. Sky and Torin have smoking hot chemistry and make a great team.
Their journey to finding the killer also allows for some personal growth. Both characters have their world views challenged and expanded during their quest.
Pierced
is a fun story with great characters. It’s a wonderful addition to the Brides
of the Kindred series. Evangeline Anderson also lets readers know what she
expects to write next, muse willing, at the end of the story.
There is a D/s theme throughout the story and the warning at the beginning is regarding the crime scenes. I personally didn’t have a problem with the scenes, but that doesn’t mean someone else won’t. The crime scenes are part of the story adding an element of horror, but they are not the whole story.
