***Note about this book***

Witched and Hitched in Seattle is a spinoff of Witchless in Seattle Mysteries. Though all of the characters remain the same, their relationships have grown and evolved, dictating the beginning of a new series.

It takes two to solve a murder right!

Stevie here and it’s my fortieth birthday. Woo-hoo!

Win’s prepared a low-key evening for me (see no acrobats and jugglers) at one of my new favorite places and new business in Eb Falls--Trish the Dish Pottery!

You read that right,
pottery. There’s nothing like getting my hands covered (my clothes, too) in wet clay as I work the wheel. It’s my latest passion, and while I stink at it (I really do), I love it and my goal to make a canister to house my beloved Twinkies was well on its way.

Win prepared an evening of pottery and friends for my birthday and it was beautiful. Except for one small thing, Trish Lemmon, owner and all ‘round amazing pottery teacher, ends up dead.

It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to—and I do, but once I dry my tears, I’m determined to find out who killed Trish. Yet, as we unravel Trish’s personal life, her past, we find deep, dark secrets she worked hard to keep buried and hidden—forever.

Things go from bad to worse as we stumble on secret after secret while we try to catch a killer. Join me and the gang for yet another adventure filled with magic, mayhem and mystery!

Review:

Stevie and Win keep evolving in their marriage and sleuthing relationship. In book two of Witched and Hitched in Seattle, readers are treated to a more confident Stevie. She is using and controlling her magic more and mixing it into the investigation. Gone are the days of her being a scared novice in investigations.

We also get a glimpse of how incredible Win must have been as a spy. This investigation had more physical violence that involved him. Win’s abilities keep revealing themselves with each new obstacle.

The Case Of Trish The Dish And The Birthday Wish jumped right into the action and didn’t stop. It was entertaining to see Officer Dana rolling with the punches! This was a great page-turner with a solid plot and fun characters. Book two was highly entertaining and a wonderful addition to the series.
