Blurb/Summary:

As the eldest daughter of an English earl, Lady Susanna Cavendish has led a sheltered life of privilege and leisure.

Notorious warrior Blair Ruthven is laird of the fiercest clan in Scotland.

Forced into marriage by feuding kings to forge a political union between their countries, Blair and Susanna must find peace between themselves as they battle ages-old prejudices – and vie for one
another's hearts.

Review:

Kayleigh Jamison creates a unique mixture of believable characters that have the readers anxious to know what will happen next. The verbal play is joyful, the lovemaking sensual and the whole story breathes with a life of its own. I easily recommend this story to anyone who loves a great adventure of love and triumph. Ms. Jamison’s use of multiple dialects within the storyline not only lends believability to her characters but is reflective of the time setting of the story.

The only location within the story in which the reader becomes distracted is at the end of the first chapter, in the last paragraph, where the discussion on book burning becomes repetitive.

grá (I Love it)
