There's a serial killer lose in Cynthia's new neighborhood, and all its victims bear a striking resemblance to her.
Blurb/Summary:
Moving from a small midwest town to the Bay area of California is a big deal, but Cynthia Freitas didn't expect the rent to be so high. The rundown apartment she can afford is nothing to write home about, but then neither are the newspaper headlines that reveal a serial killer is lose in her neighborhood. Luckily, her hunky next door neighbor is a SF Policeman, but what happens on their date gives them both a gigantic shock. Now Cynthia has to save Alex from becoming the serial killer's next victim.
Review:
A wonderful concept is captured in Ms. Simpson’s Beside Myself. A true mystery with a dash of romance thrown in; and the twist that makes it truly humorous is one I didn’t see coming.
However, there are numerous editing errors that detract somewhat from the reading, but if you can stick with it, the book is worth the distractions. I laughed through the whole thing as Cynthia and Mike bumble their way through worlds they never thought they would enter.

Sounds like a winner even with the editing errors. I love humor.
