Blurb/Summary:
In another room, he prepares the tools of her pleasure. Their pleasure. Though they have done this before, it is new every time. The bindings will chafe her delicate skin. The lash will mark and burn her luscious ass. He will tightly wrap her body in rope, spread her wide and play with her as she hangs helplessly within his control.
Bondage. Passion. And a love that binds more tightly than the strongest cord.
Review:
Diana Hunter did a great job with this short story. It is exactly as the title suggests, Love in the Afternoon between a husband and wife, with a small twist. The husband and wife are a D/s couple and their afternoon has been reserved for BDSM play.
We get a glimpse into their life for the day and get to experience what love, sex, and intimacy means to them. Their sexual encounter was tastefully and descriptively written. The love the couple has for one another shines through in the care they show one another.
The characters remain nameless, but not emotionless or without depth. Their past personal experiences are shared with us through their thoughts during play. This couple could be anyone. They have the same everyday life and problems as the rest of the world, but they play just for themselves.
Based on this story, I would check out other works by Diana Hunter.
