Blurb/Summary:

Alone with her journal, Bella examines her feelings and passion for Quinn Lockharte, a man who charged into her life in a storming fury and changed it forever. Quinn’s duty to his family has him engaged to his childhood sweetheart, and though the promise is an old one, Quinn feels bound to honor it.

A surprise knock at her door brings Bella face-to-face with her destiny…but can she trust what her heart so desperately wants—especially when Quinn is determined to keep her naked and screaming his name? Mind-blowing sex has been their relationship’s strongest bond, but Bella’s tired of being his secret—and Quinn’s not willing to let her go.

Review:

I loved Hide and Secret! This is a short story that was written in the first-person. We first meet Bella as she is reading sad and distressing news. We aren’t quite sure what to make of Quinn as he comes on stage. It quickly becomes apparent that the two are at a crossroads and that the decisions made in this moment will forever change their lives.

We get to live through Bella’s decision making process and see part of her thought process come to a head, as well as trust issues. All the while, Quinn and Bella can’t keep their hands off one another. Their chemistry sizzles off the pages and will leave you breathless.

Denysé Bridger has the reader right in the moment, living out everything with Bella; which includes the hot, heavy, and wonderfully erotic love scenes between her and Quinn. The author had me captivated from the first page to the last. Hide and Secret is a page turner that I was unable to put down.

This is a must read for any hopeless romantics out there!

I love stories like this - ones that let you really *feel* how a decision has been made.

I read this book too and I think the reviewer is spot on. Denyse seduces you from the first line and doesn't let you go!
