Two years after his brother’s death in Afghanistan, Jethro is doing well. His handmade porch swing business is booming, his hip injury has healed and he’s still in love with Caitlyn. He knows he should resist her, but can’t, and pulls her into his darkly sensual world of sex and spankings.

Caitlyn has grieved, created a life for herself and has finally come to terms with her need for Jethro, her dead husband’s brother. With no small measure of hesitation, she takes a fateful step—daring him to turn her and their chance at happiness away.

When Caitlyn's husband and his twin were shipped off to war she feared not only for her husband but for Jethro too. Since she loved both of them she was devastated. But when her husband is killed and only Jethro returns now she not only is mourning the loss of her husband, but feels guilty for the love she has for his brother.

Jethro has always loved Caitlyn but he respected her choice when she choose his brother, when he comes back from war by himself injured and mourning the loss of his brother he must make decisions of what he will do with the love he has for Caitlyn.

Lissa Matthews is an amazing author who writes very erotic stories, but at the same time she involves you so much in the lives of each character that you can't help but to love each and every one of her stories. Caitlyn and Jethro take you on a journey of a love that they thought was well hidden and the choices that have to be made in order for them to move on, and in the end they realize things may not have had to be so hard after all.
