Blurb/Summary:

All her life, tomboy Bradi Kincaid has wanted two things—a career as a veterinarian in her hometown of Grayson, Texas…and Mason Montgomery. Problem is, he’s her best friend and, according to him, she’s “one of the guys”. Convinced he’ll never see her otherwise, Bradi comes up with a sure-fire plan to get over Mason—flirt a little, dance a lot and get laid.

What Mason imagines doing to Bradi is just all kinds of wrong. But the woman on the dance floor isn’t the girl he grew up with. She’s hot and sexy and turning him on. Him and every other man in the bar. She’s also had too much to drink and is unaware of the trouble she’s inviting. He does what any friend would—he steps in, then sets out to teach her a lesson.

But before the sun rises, Mason discovers Bradi has a thing or two to teach him.

Reader Advisory: This story contains spanking, biting and some tie-me-up, bucking-hard sex.

Review:

Bucking Hard by Darah Lace was smoking hot! The screen literally heated up on me as I read Brandi’s story. I loved how Brandi lets loose and shows Mason she’s not just the girl next door but a hot blooded woman. I also understood her need to get the hell out of dodge because staying close to someone you wanted but couldn’t have was heartbreaking. Right then I wanted to clobber our sexy hero into making a move before losing the best opportunity of his life.

Mason tickled me because he wanted Brandi bad but didn’t act on it. But when the chance arose passions steamed up and there was no going backward. For sure Brandi’s womanly wiles worked well in this instance and she got her just rewards, straight hard core bucking style with the man of her dreams. I only hoped he planned on having her around for keeps.

This book is a great read and I’d recommend it to everyone I know.

Blurb/Summary:

Sequel to Unmasking Zorro (available in the Wilder Bookstore)

Marcus Preston wants a relationship built on love and trust, but the woman he wants made it clear long ago she's only interested in fun and games. Yet, moving on proves difficult when no one else can erase the memory of the night they shared last summer.

Charlotte Reese doesn't believe in love, marriage, or happily ever afters. An occasional one-night stand is all she needs to take the edge off her loneliness and enhance the bad-girl image she uses to discourage commitment-seeking men—especially Marcus, the only man to melt both her body and her heart melt.

When Charlotte wins Marcus hot off the block of Houston’s Most Eligible Bachelor Auction and they’re forced to spend the weekend together, she seizes the opportunity to seduce him and extinguish the attraction sizzling between them once and for all. But for Marcus, it’s all or nothing. He won’t be seduced. Instead, he’ll show Charlotte she has more to offer a man than sex.

Review:

Bachelor Auction was an exceptional read. I thought it would be a fun, long read about a couple who just didn’t quite land on the same page, but it was so much more than that.

The real life issues that prevented Charlotte from committing spoke volumes to me. On the flip side, I totally fell for Marcus who was so controlling he couldn’t take the blinders off to see what a treasure Charlotte was the entire time he’d known her.

I enjoyed the give and play and the tension, and also fell in love with Nat, the young infatuated teen. This story was easy to fall into as if I was part of the crowd watching. It will definitely be read again soon.
