Blurb/Summary:

Maggie Harrison’s temp assignment sounds glamorous. As assistant to bestselling author Noah Nash, she’ll be staying in his penthouse suite at the legendary Davenport Hotel. However, Maggie is more interested in whether Noah will remember her from high school.

Tales of ghosts and paranormal activity enticed Noah to set his next book in the Davenport, but his reason for hiring Maggie is entirely personal. He hopes the old spark can be fanned into a new flame. What happens between them is more like a raging wildfire.

Their passionate reunion takes an even wilder turn when they’re suddenly transported to the Roaring Twenties, when the new hotel sparkled like champagne in a speakeasy…and several murders went unsolved. For Maggie and Noah to return home, they must prevent one of those deaths—but first they need to figure out which one.

Review:

Once again, Marilyn Campbell puts the wow factor in a new, sexy time travel romance. It has all the right ingredients for a book that I had a feeling I would enjoy, and I was right. It's got time travel, ghosts, and of course, romance. What more could a romance lover want? The love scenes are steamy. (My glasses fogged up quite a few times. Maybe some had to do with the humidity in the house, but maybe not!)

I love Maggie and Noah. They were good friends back in high school, and lost touch. Noah has apparently turned into a hunk, and he's now a successful writer. Maggie is hired as his assistant and they are staying at a hotel that's haunted- and then the big whammy- they're transported back in time!

This is a fast paced excellent story that will thrill you. Don't pass this one up if you love time travel and ghosts. Marilyn Campbell delivers.

Blurb/Summary:

Cory knows she has an amazing boss. Jeff is considerate, generous and a true pleasure to work for. Unfortunately, he’s also the sexiest man she’s ever known, and being so close to him every day without being able to touch has turned into pure torture.

Jeff believes Cory is the ideal assistant, always willing to accommodate. For some time he’s been fantasizing about personal things he wishes Cory would do for him. Letting her know that, however, has been out of the question…until she turns in her resignation and admits it’s because she wants something more from him. The instant they realize they want the same thing, they don’t waste another second before acting out their office fantasies.

Review:

Work It by Marilyn Campbell was a fun, short read. I felt for Cory who wanted to keep her personal life and her professional life separate and the lengths to which she’d go to achieve her objective. Holding feelings for so long and being denied or invisible must have been crushing. I hoped she’d find in life what she was looking for.

Jeff on the other hand didn’t seem to be the type of man to let a good thing go. Maybe he just needed a glimmer that there was a spark or some pizzazz there! I hoped they’d ignite a fire and dive into what they’d been dancing around for years.

Blurb/Summary:

In 1965, Mark Templeton is about to be executed for crimes he did not commit and offers his soul to the devil for a chance at vengeance. In 2010, author Kelly Kirkwood is researching an old murder case with a supernatural twist. A vividly erotic dream involving the accused sets the stage for that man to be miraculously transported into her life.

Mark is gorgeous, fun, sexy as hell and completely dependent on her help to resolve his past. Their attraction is so intense, it’s as though they’ve been together before. Assuming he will vanish at any moment, Kelly sheds her sexual inhibitions to try out some of the steamy scenes she’s written and he’s delighted to introduce her to a few things she never considered.

Given time, lust could turn to love, but their time together has been limited by a challenge between the powers of light and dark, and by a group of hate-filled men who will do anything to prevent the past from being resurrected.

Publisher’s Note: This story was previously published elsewhere under the title Out of Time, and has been revised for Ellora’s Cave.

Review:

What would you do if a man showed up with a claim of travelling through time? For author Kelly Kirkwood, the situation comes right out of a fiction book. Well, sometimes life is stranger than fiction. The last thing Mark remembers before appearing at Kelly's residence was being prepared to be executed- in 1965! And ironically enough, Kelly had been researching that very same murder that Mark had been convicted of for her new book idea.

I found In and Out of Time to be riveting and suspenseful. Time travels are so interesting and many are unique. That is the case with this story. I finished this book within only a few hours, I was so engaged. For anyone who loves romantic suspense and the concept of time travel, then definitely check out Marilyn Campbell's In and Out of Time, and hold on tight, for you'll be in for a thrill ride.
