Blurb/Summary:

Yoga instructor Diana Courbet wants to celebrate the end of a messy divorce in the best way possible, starting with a one night stand with the sexy, tousle-haired artist in her yoga class. He's been the object of her desire for close to a year, and while he might be worth more than one sexy evening, that's all her heart is willing to risk. Mathias Kuning wants two things--to be a successful artist and Diana. Over the past year, he's painted Diana in a series of nudes that show how much he's grown to care for his beautiful muse. But to become a successful artist he has to show the sensual pieces, and to show them, she has to agree. Will the risque poses of Mathias' creation be the very thing that keeps Diana in his arms...or drives her out of his life forever?

Review:

This was a short but sweet read that, as an older woman, I could enjoy and relate to.  Diana’s dilemma with both her husband and their divorce as well as with Mathias was easy to understand.  The plot was not overly complicated.  Rather, the author developed the characters through Diana’s internal reflection and in her reactions to Mathias. Mathias was so sweet!  Yes, he was younger than Diana, but he managed to be dominant in a comfortable, sweet way that I found endearing.  I enjoyed the solution to the problem of the risqué poses and would really enjoy a sequel to this story!

Blurb/Summary:
[Boys Of Summer]

Lifeguard/artist Gavin White has been holding the ripped shreds of his life together by the seams. Facing the anniversary of his sister's death, he fights the dark call of dependency and is at the edge of succumbing when his best friend since preschool returns to his life. Handsome geek-turned-hunk, Erik Clarke wasn't afraid to come out and had been bold enough to kiss Gavin the last time they were together. Damn that kiss. Gavin wants more. So much more, but he was never brave enough to tell Erik his dreams. With his future hanging by a tattered thread, Gavin must trade one temptation for another or risk ripping his life apart.

Review:

Ripped by Mia Downing is one heavy heart felt read.  I was led into the lives of childhood best friend’s who’d lived through the ups and downs together.  Not just any normal up and downs of everyday life, but a tragic event that began a path of spiraling self-destruction for Gavin.  Erik with his selfless ways ignores his wants, needs and desires to help the one man he’s loved his entire life find the power to heal and move forward from the devastation for which he holds himself responsible.

Kink is introduced to a man who isn’t into the lifestyle but will enter if it means giving the man peace.  The journey of friendship to love is ripe in this story.  My heart broke for Gavin and Erik as they navigated a rocky path to self-discovery and healing. To finding love and self-worth.

I’d recommend this book to a friend as well as a few tissues to wipe away tears during this endearing read.

Blurb/Summary:

New to The Academy of Magical Arts, Briarlarn Tumbleweed wants to learn the art of a True Healer, but her nerves get the best of her when she’s paired in the sexually dynamic healing class with Uthiel Stoutheart, Paladin of the Realm. Between burning off his eyebrows and overturning a candle on certain exposed male parts, she isn't making a very good impression. But how can she focus when Uthiel is strong, brave, and touches Briar in a way that leaves her weak in the knees, quivering with pleasure, and begging for more?

Falling in love with the accident-prone but talented Briar was not what Uthiel had planned, but life with the sexy healer is adventurous, hilarious, mind-blowingly stimulating, and clearly his destiny. His soul awakens while taking her to new heights of ecstasy, yet he can't allow his own pleasure. There’s no getting around it—he must leave The Academy and pursue his quest to right the wrongs done to his people if he can ever hope to find happiness with Briar.

But is their love strong enough to mend the magic so desperately needed to preserve their world, and that touches both their souls with a searing heat?

Review:

Touched By The Magic was a lighthearted, fun read.  A wonderful blend of the erotic and humour tied together with leather bands of fantasy.  And yes, it touches on bondage but manages to turn it on its head to where you want to laugh at the circumstances that Briar and Uthiel find themselves in.  I managed to read through the entire book in two evenings, reading way past the time that I should have turned in.

Briar, has a secret, in a world where most much younger than her have received training in the arts of love, she is without an education.  Worse yet she has lied on a school application for a job that requires said training.  Uthiel also, has his issues.  He is a paladin, sworn to protect dragons, which he is determined to kill due to previous heartache.  Together, they manage to botch almost every lesson the school of magic has to teach, while managing to save the world.

And if that isn't amusing enough for you, throughout the book are cameos by a perverted, potty mouthed gnome who likes to steal woman's underwear for the blow up sex doll he carries with him almost everywhere.  If you are looking for some lighthearted fantasy, with hot sex scenes, this is the book for you!

Blurb/Summary:

Lawyer Megan Connors wants a man, one that will wine her, dine her, and help her to forget the pain of a date rape she experienced as a teen. Her boss, Adam Wentworth, is just the man--tall, dark-haired, blue-eyed, and a confirmed player. He's perfect for a weekend of non-committal sex that will entice her inner woman out to play for good. So Megan devises a plan for seduction, one that will lure Adam into her arms.

Adam has been attracted to Megan since day one, but his preference for dominance and her fragile air kept him at bay. Megan's kiss under forgotten mistletoe is just the fuel his lust needs to exceed the boundaries she once put in place. He's game, but he wants more than a weekend with the vulnerable yet sexy Megan.

When the weekend is over, will Megan allow the past to keep her bound or can Adam convince her she's strong enough to submit?

Review:

Megan Connors is scheming to get the guy of her fantasies, and she is willing to act the part of whatever he wants to get him into her as soon as possible.  But what happens when the player you thought you were seducing turns out to be the Dom who wants more than just your body, he wants your heart as well?  Can Megan get beyond her burning secrets to get the guy who has owned her from the beginning or will her past be too much to overcome for these two budding lovers?

Adam Wentworth has wanted Megan since the first day he saw her walking down the hall.  Having suffered the worst tragedy of his life a mere two years ago guarding his heart has been priority one, but with Megan all the rules are being thrown out the window.  When a searing kiss and a dare brings these two together, fireworks explode the more they come together, and Adam is finding it harder and harder to walk away from her each day.  But can he help her work past her fears or will he have to put it all on the line and hope that she feels the same way as him?  Will making the ultimate sacrifice be worth the risk of heartache in the end?

This was a great story, not only was the sex amazingly hot, but the characters were real and easy to love.  The story of Megan and Adam was one filled with real emotions and mixed signals from the first page.  The horrible pasts of these two characters made them come to life on the page, and with that the story flowed so well that it ended far too quickly.  I haven’t read too many books by Mia Downing, but this one was grade A-mazing and it is a definite reread for me.  If you are looking for a great love story with some naughty good times in the sack thrown in for good measure than this is the book for you!

Blurb/Summary:
City girl Candy Merrill can't see herself falling for a country bumpkin. But her best friend’s cousin, Levi Bishop is hard to resist in his tight jeans and country charm. This has to be lust at first sight…because it couldn’t possibly be love.

It’s been a long time since Levi has kissed a woman as sweet as candy. And this Candy is looking for a guy who can kiss her socks off. Levi's never been afraid of a challenge. But after one kiss, he's hooked on sweets. Now he’ll just need to get Candy to see past their differences and show her she needs him for more than kisses.

Review:
Opposites can attract.  They can fall in love.  They can easily get past the lust and needing something physical to actually maintain a relationship.  Sure, it's possible.  Is it a long road of compromises and soul searching?  Absolutely.
Candy and Levi are as different as night and day.  Neither one is sure about the other, but after being pushed together on a blind date, they had to give it a whirl. Yes, the sparks are there, but the hesitance (at least in Candy's case) is there when it comes to thinking in the long term.  She loves the city, and Levi....well, doesn't.
Candy's Kisses is fun, erotic, and all around a great read.  The beginning didn't hold much attention for me, but after a few chapters, I was able to get more emotionally invested in the book.  I wanted to see where this would go.  The cover and title really grabbed me and after all was said and done, I'm glad I picked up the story to read.
If you like a story with opposites as the hero and heroine and enjoy erotic romances, then don't think twice about getting some of Candy's Kisses

Blurb/Summary:

Reformed bad girl Nikki Carson has spent the past year trying to forget her boss's Halloween party and the unbelievable sex she had with her boss's hot twin, Patrick Nolan. Patrick hasn't mentioned that night since, much to Nikki's endless disappointment.

Years of following in the wake of his womanizing brother cause Patrick to wonder if Nikki even knows which twin she slept with. He can't believe she could possibly prefer him over her slick, polished boss. That doesn't mean he's been able to stop fantasizing about taking her again. Against the wall. On the floor. Everywhere.

It's Halloween again, and trick or treat takes on a whole new meaning when Nikki and Patrick go for round two. Especially since Nikki's come prepared with a Domme kitty costume meant to drive Patrick wild. And this kitty's ready to show her claws if she doesn't get what she wants...

Review:

If you’re looking for one smoking hot Halloween read, Bad Kitty by Cari Quinn is right up your alley. Nikki is one sexy woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it, but only on Halloween night when she lets her inner vixen out and dares to embrace her innate sexual deviant. She’s sassy and sure of herself. What she’s unsure of is how her intended prey thinks about her.

Patrick is one hot piece of man candy. Not only is he talented and strong, he possesses great skill in the bedroom. The sexual innuendo dripping off his tongue will leave you wet while reading. He personifies swagger on a whole new level. Together sparks fly, apart…sparks fly. Be sure to keep a glass of wine or water near you, you’ll need to hydrate after reading of their naughty encounters.

Blurb/Summary:

Lingerie model Marigold Laurent arrives in Greece for a much-needed vacation from work and the sweet-talking man who broke her heart. Fate and the machinations of her well-meaning sister ensure that she collide with tall, dark and luscious Dmitri Damianos, forcing her no-men policy right out the window. But can he give her more than one-and-done?

Wealthy entrepreneur, Dmitri, guards his emotions well. And while he wants everything Marigold has to offer--beauty, wit, charm, and the best sex of his life--he can't give her what she really needs. But when the red-hot beauty climbs out of his bed and possibly out of his life, can he let her go?

Review:

Going Greek by Lelani Black took place in a mesmerizing setting. I immediately loved the sisterly banter that flew between Marigold and Jasmine. When Jasmine and Stravos are otherwise occupied, Marigold is left in solitude to make sense of her life and what’s led her to her current state of affairs. Stravos’ brother Dmitri affects her on a level she’s not ready for. She thinks she wants a commitment and he’s only willing to give her a small piece of himself.

I thought the story was charming. The pacing felt off for a love story that was filled with more fantasies than actual bond building and non-consistent communication that comes with a loving and nurturing relationship. While the sex was red hot and I loved every part of it. I didn’t feel that anything was showed more than a fleeting physical attraction between the two. Maybe if there’d been deeper layers with the two of them I would have. Still it was a nice read to sit back and enjoy. I just wish I’d gotten to know what made Dmitri tick and more into the personality of Marigold that wasn’t tied into her ex.

Blurb/Summary:

What begins as a sexy cyber affair quickly turns into the real thing when Lt. Finn Coleman shows up on Emma Shield's doorstep to fulfill all her fantasies. When Emma doesn't match the persona she presented online, he decides to seduce and discover the sensual woman who claimed she enjoyed spankings and bondage. But Finn is a career military man with a dangerous mission ahead.

All Emma wanted was to live out her hottest fantasies with her luscious new pen pal. She felt safe pretending to be a wicked seductress with Finn a world away. Then he shows up, bigger than life and making even her wildest dreams seem tame. All too soon, Emma realizes that more is at stake than her heart and losing Finn is not part of the plan.

Review:

Operation: Spank Me was a deliciously erotic and steamy read. I loved the opening into the story with the internet texting. After reading their fantasy letters to one another I’d hoped their first meeting would be explosive. What I was shown was two fantastic personalities. I had a feeling Emma wasn’t being totally honest with her appearance and I loved that it didn’t matter to Finn.

The small town antics really tickled my fancy. Being from a small town myself it doesn’t take much for tongues to begin wagging and that sexy Finn was definitely a reason to set mouths and tongues on fire.

Their story moved quickly with spanking and white hot passion. Watching Emma voice dirty language was great for someone totally introverted except for online. I hoped they’d have more than just a great week together and something permanent. The twist was a shocker that left me on the edge waiting.

Blurb/Summary:

He rode into town to buy supplies, not a woman.

For hunted recluse Rafe McBride, the raven-haired beauty on the auction block is exactly what he doesn't need. A dependent woman will be another clue his vengeful stepbrother can use to find and kill him. But Rafe's conscience won't let him leave another innocent's virginity to the riff-raff bidding. He buys her, promising to return her to St. Louis untouched. He only prays the impending blizzard holds off before her sultry beauty breaks his willpower.

She wanted freedom, not a lover.

Whisked to the auction block by her devious, gambling cousin, and then sold into the arms of a gorgeous stranger, outspoken artist Maggie Monroe isn't about to go meekly. Especially when the rugged mountain man looks like sin and danger rolled into one. But a blizzard and temptation thrust them together, and Maggie yearns to explore her smoldering passion for Rafe.

But when the snow clears, will the danger and secrets that surround Rafe and Maggie tear them apart?

Review:

Rafe’s Redemption by Jennifer Jakes is a heart melting read. My stomach lurched in the opening scene with Maggie. I couldn’t imagine being a part of a time where men were completely in charge and could do as they wished to women in their family.

Although Rafe wasn’t looking for a woman he did what he thought was right and with his decision his life changed for the better. Maggie might not have wanted to have a man hold control over her again, but she hadn’t met a man of Rafe’s caliber before. Rafe’s secrets and the danger lurking in the shadows for Maggie made for a suspenseful read.

I admired Maggie’s strength as a survivor and a woman who took care of what she said was hers, and Rafe’s stubborn male attitude. These two selfless individuals deserved a break. The tension and sexual passion grew with each passing scene and watching it culminate and the two of them learn to trust one another was an immense joy.

I’d recommend this story as a have to read.

Desiree Holt has done it again with this truly erotic story of a too hot to handle cowboy and a tough as nails sheriff that likes to keep her kink to herself, and has never been able to truly trust her dark desires with anyone ,until Kyle. But does tough as nails Jessie have what it truly takes to keep her extremely hot cowboy?

Desiree is a true master of erotic romance and is never one to disappoint, she draws you in to each story with hero’s that are so hot and heroines that can handle anything that these sexy cowboys can bring.

This is a must read for any fan and a great read for one who is looking to find an author they can’t live without.

Blurb/Summary:

Eight years ago Lily Swanson left Havashaw County with a broken heart. Now circumstances have brought her back to the cowboy who still drives her crazy. Seeing him again stirs erotic memories, but the pain of his betrayal refuses to be soothed with a sexy smile.

Lily left him. That inescapable fact drives Thor Hanson to succeed more than any other. Her return to Havashaw triggers anger, lust and regret, but when she reveals the truth behind her leaving, he's determined to rein her in and show her that what they have is more than a memory.

Neither can deny their passion, as untamable as the broncs Thor trains. But will it be enough, and can Thor convince Lily she's right where she belongs?

Review:

Untamable grabbed my attention by the title alone. Becca Dale really grabbed my attention with this hometown read. I enjoyed how packed this novella was and feeling as if I was there in the family and at the venue watching what was going on.

Poor Lily was dealt a hard blow at a young tender age that jaded her toward men and loving. At that age there was no way to discern ‘go away’ from ‘get the fuck away’ from a prideful hurt male. Thor I wanted to clobber. I love male pride in small doses; he did a whammy of a dose in the beginning and didn’t exactly learn from it.

When they met again, boy did those sparks fly enough to burn through my reader. I found myself thinking ‘oh my’, and waiting for flying parts or fists. Instead wouldn’t you know rage and hurt led into a hot sexual encounter.

Would he learn from his past or would he tempt fate again for the sake of pride?

Watching the two moving forward made my day. Throw in groupie females and the need for self reinvention and it can lead to disaster, unless you have the right woman at your side.

I loved Untamable and hearing Thor get handled by his boys into taming his woman. It fit. The man who wasn’t scared of anything was deathly afraid of losing his heart to someone who’d loved him forever.

Taryn Blaze is the reigning queen of rock-n-roll. An ultimate diva who's never been refused anything or anyone--until the hunky security guard doesn't show at the prescribed time, dressed in the white silk boxers her assistant had delivered to him. Outraged, Taryn does what she always does when she doesn't get her way--she throws a tantrum.

Derek Abrahms, a locally hired security guard, is thrilled when Taryn notices him, but instead of recognizing him from her past, she orders him to her hotel room for a night of lusty passion. Determined to teach the diva a lesson, he does what no man has ever done before--he denies the goddess.

When Taryn unleashes her prima dona temper, can Derek remind her of the sweet girl she once was? Or is his Diva-Licious just too wild to tame?

Review:

Taryn was one Diva-Licious broad. In fact I’m not so sure I liked her in the beginning. But I loved Derek from the get go, his personality was the perfect offset to bring that diva down a peg or two and remind her how to treat others. I swear I thought she was going to go ape shit when her wishes weren’t granted, and went back twice to reread her response at being rejected.

Had I known it would bother her on a more emotional level right then, I would’ve sympathized, but I didn’t.

I really enjoyed Derek and his moral code of ethics. It’s great to see a man work hard to get what he wants in life, instead of finding an easy way. Makes what was achieved more substantial. His long time crush on his diva was splendid and he sure knew how to handle her right, to show her the girl he once remembered, the one he fell in love with all those years ago.

I was truly tickled by this read and simply loved it, heroine included.

Blurb/Summary:

Private Investigator Alex Flaherty wants only one thing under the tree on Christmas morning--a curvaceous, sexy woman. A lead on the shady lawyer he's investigating wouldn't hurt, either. When Alex is stranded during a snow storm days before Christmas, his wish seems little more than a pipe dream…until fate intervenes.

After a bitter divorce, Delilah Adams is spending her first Christmas alone and wishes for love to fill her stocking. When she gives a ride to a handsome stranger caught in a snow storm, she never imagines his sinfully delicious smile will turn her life around and give her hope for a special holiday.

Alex and Delilah find friendship and intense pleasure in one another…but can the hope of a budding relationship overcome obstacles from the past? Or will the danger that lies ahead ruin Alex's Christmas Wish?

Review:

While Alex’s Christmas Wish was grammatically correct and in parts a very wonderful read, the overall tone of the story was over the top. Instead of feeling the joy of the Christmas spirit and family, it was overshadowed with both verbal abuse and physical violence. In any other story I’d have welcomed the villainy however not for a holiday read.

To save the males on her home planet, Lola Zentar was designed for one purpose only—to seduce a psychic, human male and steal his life force during sex. But from the second Lola discovers her chosen male outside a night club, she is compelled to betray her race and explore the sensual desires he has awakened. She refuses to put him at risk and flees despite knowing it means her death.

Investigative reporter Stefan Rodriquez smells a story behind the mysterious Lola. Could she have a connection to the men found burned to a crisp? But more intriguing are Lola's psychic abilities and deliciously alluring body. He follows her home, hoping to find his lead story and delve further into the connection Lola and he share.

When an emissary is sent to check up on Lola's progress, danger threatens the pair. Will Stefan survive to experience the After Glow in Lola's arms?

Stefan knows Lola is different, he has never felt this kind of connection with another woman and now that she has awakened him he doesn't want to go back.
