Review:

Diana DeRicci wove a great tale. Caged is a novella packed with hot, steamy, erotic love scenes and a suspenseful mystery. This is a page turner with plot twists that keep you entertained.

Mira and Rhys are the main characters in the story. Their love for one another shines through the pages and the beautifully described erotic love scenes. They even have a little D/s play. Mira and Rhys’ love scenes will leave you breathless, panting, and waiting for the next one.

The science fiction and mystery aspect of the tale add depth and keeps the story line progressing. The secondary character, Robbie, is easy to like and would make a great main character in a spin off. Caged has a great happily ever after ending that just leaves you wanting more of all these characters.

Based on this story, I would seek out other creations by Diana DeRicci.

Review:

Dark Diary, II: The First definitely lives up to its name. It is dark, some parts are disturbing, and some of the tale borders on horror. Not so disturbing that I couldn’t go to sleep, but if you are looking for a paranormal romance with a dark undercurrent and a thriller aspect then this is the book.

Dawn Dominique created a world with great characters and possibilities. She has her own version of a vampire and vampire powers. The story starts as if you are reading Daniella’s diary and then are sucked into her present life and happenings. It ends as a journal entry as well, reminding you that you were getting a glimpse of Daniella’s life.

Daniella Rolf, the heroine, is written as a strong and capable woman. You will feel her loneliness and isolation. Aiden Blackmore, the hero, is written as a friendly and loving man. Aiden brings some joy and much needed company to Daniella. The characters together make a nice balance and the chemistry between them sizzles off the pages.

Daniella and Aiden are brought together through a series of crimes. They are faced with stopping a serial killer before he strikes again. The serial killer brings a bit of mystery and thrill into the tale and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Based on this story, I would check out other creations by Dawn Dominique.

Review:

Tied To A Demon kept me up until the wee hours of the morning because I was unable to put it down. This is a great tale of demons, magic, grief, loss, and love.

As a reader, you will fall in love with Shanna the heroine. At first meeting, she appears to be a female Neville Longbottom, but as the story unfolds we find out she is so much more.

The hero of the story, Alec, has his own secrets that get revealed in time. For a demon, he’s a charmer and very protective of Shanna.

The two make a great team to overcome the true evil that threatens Shanna’s life.

This is a well written story that will spark your imagination. The author left some questions unanswered at the end. Perhaps leaving an opening for a future story.

I truly enjoyed reading Tied To A Demon. Based on this story, I will be seeking other works by Rachel D. Thompson.

Review:

Ms. Dominique has created fascinatingly likeable, believable characters that move through a story as old as time, with a many exciting twists. I found her surprising turn of events to be well done, and the characters feelings, thoughts and actions to be a fascinating to read. This is a story worth every minute of engagement and is one I would not only recommend, but pick up again myself. The beginning of vampires, humans and a fight between good and evil that is epic in and of itself gets a whole new twist in Eden’s Hell that no one will expect. I know that I wasn’t disappointed.
