The Birthday Gift is a quick short story that will leave you very satisfied. Lynn LaFleur gifted all of her readers with a wonderful ménage a trios.

This story is filled with love and selflessness. Jake puts aside his own needs and wants to help fulfill his wife’s desires. Jake and Amanda’s love for each other flows off the pages. When Patrick enters the picture their love ignites the pages. The three share an erotic encounter that will leave you wanting more, of the characters and Lynn LaFleur’s writing.

I hope that we will get to revisit these characters in the future! Based on this story, I would seek out other creations by Lynn LaFleur.

Review:

A quick read, exploring the relationship between an older woman and younger man. Daphne, in need of some extra cash, interviews to pose for a famous photographer and the two are instantly attracted to each other. The sparks fly instantly.

The story has plenty of love scenes that are hot and steamy. Gerard is a very likeable hero, intense and very sweet. Lynn LaFleur demonstrates in a short amount of time how two very different people come together in a short time and make things work.

I liked reading Soft Focus very much, and the ending made me burst with laughter.
