Blurb/Summary:

Katrina Jamieson didn't have time for a man in her life, much less a cowboy. She's not about to give up her career as a fighter pilot for anything. Zipping amongst the clouds at 40,000 feet is her dream and being the best pilot the Force has ever seen, encompasses her days.

Justin Wilder, cattle rancher and all around gorgeous hunk, doesn't need the feisty Katrina in the middle of his world. He does just fine, thank you very much, taking care of his cows and building his ranch, but he can't seem to forget her after she slams her brand new, Mustang GT 500 KR into the side of his truck.

When their worlds collide, sparks fly and these two are so hot, skin sizzles when they touch. Can their attraction stand the test of time or will it burn out faster than the afterburners of her jet?

Review:

Book three in the Wild Series by Sandy Sullivan lacked the emotional intensity of the first two books.

The characters were well developed and the plot keeps the reader turning the pages, but the story felt forced at times. I was disappointed that there was not as much connection and interaction between the Wilder family members that made the first two so charming.

The story was set in a different state. Ms. Sullivan tried incorporating family in by having the younger sister come for a visit but Abby is the gel that holds the series together.

When they come face-to-face again, he can’t walk away, not from Jamie nor from his daughter. Will they be able to get past the disappointments and tears to rekindle their love or will old hurts kill the feelings that still linger in their hearts?

Review:

Book Four, in the Wild Series is as spellbinding as the first two books in the series. The reader is pulled in to the loveable, witty, and sometimes heartbreaking life of the youngest Wild sibling.

I did get annoyed with the child who is suppose to be nine turning ten years old in the story. The child spoke as if she was fifteen years old on topics that most nine year olds would not know about.

Ms. Sullivan needs to recalculate the gestation time of humans. She kept stating it had been nine years since the parents saw each other. In actuality it would have been ten or eleven years, since the Father was gone as soon as the pregnancy was known.

Overall, if you are a fan of Ms. Sullivan’s Wild Series you will not be disappointed learn Jamie’s story.

When she sticks her claws into him at the bar, accusing him of getting her sister pregnant, he’s fascinated. Her hazel eyes snap fire as she pins him to his seat. Can he tame the hellcat with the tongue sharper than cheap tequila? Does he want to or will the call of the rodeo pull him away?

Review:

The Wilder brothers have returned! For those who never cry when reading a romance story, this one might be the one to open up those tear ducts.

The second instalment of in the Wild Series by Sandy Sullivan is intense. The reader will not want to put the book down until they have reached the back cover.

The lead characters seem to face difficulties from their first meeting, which is case of mistaken identity. Ms. Sullivan does a superb job with carrying the momentum, characters, intensity of brooding cowboys and love of family from the first book, Wild Wyoming Nights, into this book. If you enjoyed this first book, then this is a must read!

Unfortunately, she's still struggling with her grief, and Chase doesn't want to push her. Can the two find a way to overcome the past and have a future together?

Review:

Get your tissues, and hold on for the ride of a life-time.

This is a page-turner that simply cannot be put down until the end! Ms. Sullivan keeps the reader in tears on an emotional roller-coaster of heartache and laugher.

This is necessary read book, if you enjoy stories about hot, sexy, brooding cowboys. The book falls short of five stones, only because I did not like how the ghost of the deceased wife was sent away. The spirit is banished in a manner that was cold and cruel, instead of trying to show some of the love that had been shared between the two spouses.

Ms. Sullivan has a great start to the Wild Series, and I can’t wait to read the next instalments!

Blurb/Summary:

The Marquis de Bond blogs about cooking and kinky sex. While it may be easy to blog about sensual domination, applying it in real life has challenges. Recipes for love don’t follow plans. New ingredients show up unannounced, other ingredients turn stubborn and refuse to be what they are.

Sarai’s free-spirited submission drives Bond crazy but captures his heart. Sarai doubts the survivability of a relationship forged in fantasy. To prove her wrong, Bond invites the one man capable of stealing her away to join their sex play.

Now all three will discover if two dominant men are a recipe for love…or war.

Review:

The Dungeon Gourmet had a splendid blog weaved through the story that was able to express the sensuality the author was trying to portray the entire story.

However, without the blog, the book would have failed. The tale was confusing with male characters having female names but referred by both gender names. The main characters never fully developed, and the author never explained why the main character had a self-imposed submission. There were too many events which were unexplored, or not fully explained. The addition of a third for a ménage tried creating competition and animosity. The Dom ended up portrayed as whiny man instead of the sensual French Chef he was suppose to be. If you want a mindless read for sex, only this might be the book for you.

Blurb/Summary:

Southern Texas is in the grips of a heat wave and DaniLee Hunter needs a distraction. The man she wants refuses to acknowledge she’s all grown up, but the sexy ranch hand Waco is more than willing for an erotic roll in the hay.

Everything in South Texas stings, bites, or prickles…including Cord Stiles. As foreman of the Iron H, he has enough to deal with—including his growing attraction for DaniLee. She’s wild and reckless—and impossible to ignore. It’s time she’s roped and branded…and he’s just the man to do it.

The stakes are high in a late-night poke-her game. Cord, Dani and Waco lay their cards on the table. Winner takes all.

Review:

Wow-wee! The hot Texas summer heat came early in this book! There is nothing like a game of cards, to crank up the heat on an already stifling summer night.

Ms. Waters captures the reader’s full attention from the start, and does not let go with two hot cowboys, and one little lady named Dani.

Dani works as hard as the hired hands on her daddy’s ranch, but has had her eye on one cowboy, and does not stop until she gets herself branded. The story flowed really well, and Ms. Waters is able to let the reader feel the struggles and hardships that Dani, Waco and Cord must overcome.

If I was to base this only by the cover, I might not have read it. There are four different fonts that all look out of place with each other; the title font would have been good with just one other. In addition, I would have liked to see the faces of the men and not arm of the women obscuring half a face.

Blurb/Summary:
Fate does a double whammy on Amy, pitching her first into the path of a serial killer, and then into the hands of Kyle Whitehorse. Kyle rescues her, but he suspects she's one of the agents pursuing him and his brand of interrogation ignites a conflagration that threatens to consume both of them.

Review:
Hearts of Midnight is action-packed in the first half of the book; the plot was well laid out with unpredicted means of detaining Amy, the heroine of the story.

I would have liked more elaboration of the male character, Kyle. The embellishment of him might have built the romance between Kylie and Amy a great deal more, since parts the story falls flat on the building emotional-bond between the two characters.

The cover is mysterious; the illusion of a female face can be detected, adding to the enticement of reading the story.

This is the second story by Ms. Zant I have read, and believe I will continue to seek her writing out because of the unpredictable of the plots of her stories.
