Blurb/Summary:

He's strong, silent, and devoted to his duty. She's bright, bubbly, and beloved in her small town. Opposites attract as they work together to track down a mysterious threat, but will it be enough to ignite an eternal flame?

Gargoyle shifter Samuel Eckhart believes in duty. He's devoted his life to using his strength and power to hunt down the criminals of the paranormal world. An agent's life doesn't leave room for love. Samuel accepted that. Until he's assigned a partner for his next case…

Tilly Cameron, Assistant Manager and Consulting Witch, left her disapproving family to build a new life for herself in Crowley Lake. With a ready smile, she's made friends everywhere – but no one special. When she's asked to assist the authorities in tracking down the unknown terror stalking the alpine town, ever-helpful Tilly readily agrees. But nothing could have prepared her for meeting the reserved, dutiful, and extremely muscular Samuel.

Samuel tries to keep his mind on the case, but duty doesn't seem so important as he spends more time with the glitter-loving, big-hearted witch. Tilly can't understand why someone as smart as Samuel won't quit the job he clearly doesn't like and let himself be happy. She's trying hard to avoid falling because when the case ends, Samuel's duty could take him away from Crowley Lake forever…

Can a small-town witch melt the heart of a man made from stone?

Review:

Glitter and Gargoyles is a fantastic addition to the series that brings in more characters and expands the paranormal world of Crowley Lake.

Samuel Eckhart is a security agent at The Institute for Paranormal Affairs that has been sent to Crowley Lake to investigate a disturbance. Samuel is partnered with Matilda Cameron, Tilly. Tilly played a role in the previous two books and now she gets to star in her own story.

Samuel is a gargoyle and perfect for his job, and Tilly is a talented witch that knows all the major players in town. The introvert and extrovert are well paired and make a great team.

It was fun to watch their relationship develop and blossom. There are bumps along the way that make the journey sweeter and keep the plot moving along.

Glitter and Gargoyles is a fun story with intriguing characters.

And unable to understand why the hard-working man runs hot and cold, Ruby’s long-suppressed intuition demands that she uncover her bogus boyfriend’s furtive secrets…

Will the couple’s sham hookup turn into a supernaturally supreme love?

Review:

Shacking Up With The Shifter is a cute and heart-warming story. I loved watching Ruby and Noah grow more into their own people. This story has lots of angst and communication issues moving the plot along.

The town has plenty of paranormal characters that are still not out to the public. This scenario creates some interesting interactions, as well as the fake boyfriend/girlfriend trope. Rhiannon Hartley includes plenty of humor and fun characters in this story. We get to see and hear more from Tamara, the Fae from the first Crowley Lakes Chronicles book.

Noah and Ruby are interesting characters on their own. Together they have great chemistry and bring each other to another level. I enjoyed their story.

Review:

Great beginning book to what looks like a promising series with fun characters set in a unique town. Falling for Fangs is a paranormal romance with the paranormal part still being hidden from most of the population. Crowley Lake is set in Australia so be prepared for some quirky terms and phrases from that country.

The two main characters are polar opposites, but then the saying that opposites attract completely applies to Maxwell Davidson and Chloe Bloom. Maxwell is a care-free playboy that would like nothing better than to play poker and hang out with his friends. That all changes when he meets Chloe. She’s a workaholic that sets extremely aggressive goals for herself. Their relationship is one of slow-burning desire that ignites a fire the more they get to know one another.

I really enjoyed Maxwell and Chloe’s journey. Falling for Fangs is a complete story with no cliff-hangers. The town of Crowley Lake is filled with some interesting characters that will have me coming back to visit.

Blurb/Summary:

Amaranta Costa uses her Kanima as an avoidance tactic, until the one person she cherishes most is taken from her. When Gavin Ford enters the fray uninvited, she’s forced to accept the help of his pack to find her mate. Trusting others isn’t her forte. Though her inner jaguar accepts him hands down, the woman in her fights his dominating, take-control nature. Unlike Marisol’s soft personality, Gavin’s wolf challenges her at every turn. She can find no escape. His abrasiveness both sets her on edge and pleases her. She finds being in Marisol’s arms isn’t enough; the all-consuming need to be his burns to her core. There’s no denying the chemical attraction arcing among the three of them. Will she reach out, and accept the love and support waiting for her?.

Review:

Amaranta is a jaguar spirit-shifter that is responsible for assassinating serial killers of the human or shifter variety.  Her brothers are jealous of her talent and don’t understand the pressure and stress; her mother is horrid in every way, and her father only supports her if she’s doing what he wants.

Marisol is Amaranta’s safe haven and support system.  Mari is Amara’s lover, mate, and human.  They have been in a relationship for the last three years.  Now the love they share together is being challenged by outside forces.  Being human, Mari is more willing to go with the flow, but Amara is a shifter and likes to have control over her world.  It makes for some interesting dynamics.

Gavin is a wolf shifter and is in love with both Mari and Amara.  He has known that he belongs to Amara and Mari since he first laid eyes on them.  Now all he has to do is convince them.  Therein lays his challenge.

When Mari is taken by a deranged man, Gavin steps in to help and ends up taking control over the situation, as much as Amara will allow.  Amara doesn’t trust Gavin, but Mari hands over her heart without reservation.  Gavin and Amara set off some fireworks while they come to understand one another.

I loved the fierce protectiveness between the three as well as their playful and teasing nature.  Their personalities complemented one another and they worked well as a trio.  The love scenes between one another and as a ménage were erotic and stimulated the imagination.

The secondary characters in both Amara’s family and Gavin’s pack helped to support the plot and added some humor.  Gavin’s pack members were interesting and written in a way that the reader wants to know more about their lives.

Ms. Levey takes a unique spin with this shifter story.  The usual standards of species sticking to their own and shunning humans were smashed in Satin and Steel.  There are other stories that have dealt with these issues, but Ms. Levey takes them all on in one story and adds some little surprises for the reader.

The cover art is gorgeous and the story is captivating.  If you like shifter stories then give this one a try.
