Review:

Glitter and Gargoyles is a fantastic addition to the series that brings in more characters and expands the paranormal world of Crowley Lake.

Samuel Eckhart is a security agent at The Institute for Paranormal Affairs that has been sent to Crowley Lake to investigate a disturbance. Samuel is partnered with Matilda Cameron, Tilly. Tilly played a role in the previous two books and now she gets to star in her own story.

Samuel is a gargoyle and perfect for his job, and Tilly is a talented witch that knows all the major players in town. The introvert and extrovert are well paired and make a great team.

It was fun to watch their relationship develop and blossom. There are bumps along the way that make the journey sweeter and keep the plot moving along.

Glitter and Gargoyles is a fun story with intriguing characters.

Review:

The Accidental Gargoyle is book 21 in the Accidentally Paranormal Series. It’s cute, quirky, and packed full of non-stop action. This is a short novella and without giving away the whole plot, I’ll say that Ingrid and Griff are polar opposites that come together to make a great couple. The dire circumstances with which they both must face, the supportive OOPs family, and all their rescue pets make for a very enjoyable and exciting journey. As with each book in the Accidental Series the family of characters has grown and the community rallies together. This is an adventure not to be missed in this series.

If this is your first time picking up a book in the Accidentally Paranormal Series then know that there will be a lot of characters that play a part in this story, but each have had their own stories. The main characters Ingrid and Griff are forging a relationship in this tale, so it’s okay to jump into the series as long as you don’t mind missing background on the other characters. Dakota Cassidy does a great job of giving new readers just enough information to keep the story moving and entice readers to try previous books.

Review:

Gargoyle’s Embrace is short and sweet with some dark drama to spice it up.  It is a short story so there is not a lot of time for character building or finding out more about Danton’s life as a gargoyle.  The story takes place over a period of less than forty-eight hours so the reader gets just a glimpse of Tracy’s life.

Tracy’s ex-boyfriend, Brian, is somewhat of a stalker.  Danton the gargoyle that Tracy meets at work feels it is his job to protect Tracy.  Herein the dark drama ensues with some surprising results.

Between her stalker and supernatural revelations, Tracy gets to know Danton on a very intimate level.  Their erotic sexual encounters quickly turn to something more.

Lisa Carlisle does a nice job of wrapping up the story and leaving the reader with a happy feeling, but still some unanswered questions.

Review:

Mahalia Levey draws you into the story with her descriptive prose and sense of humor.  She makes the characters instantly likeable by making them seem very human.  The main characters are Sorcha and Macsen.  Sorcha is a lovable witch that is clumsy and could even be considered a walking disaster.  Macsen is the guardian gargoyle that was sent to protect Sorcha and her sisters.

Sorcha and Macsen meet face to face early on in the story during one of Sorcha’s accidents.  Macsen sets things right and Sorcha can’t stop the instant attraction.  Sparks fly and then words.  The two set each other’s nerves on end without even trying.  This is something that is developed in a positive way throughout the short story.  Their romance is a whirlwind of erotic delight.

The secondary characters deserve a mention because they brought out the personalities of Sorcha and Macsen and added a layer of humor.  Sorcha’s sisters and Macsen’s gargoyle friends kept the story light and flowing.

Ms. Levey left her readers hanging in Courting Disaster with worry for the safety of one of the sisters.  I’m hoping that this ending means that we’ll see more of these witches and gargoyles in the future.  Mahalia Levey created a wonderful world for these characters so that with future instalments it can grow even further.  I look forward to the journey.

Celeste and Pascal have chemistry together that just sizzles off the pages. Their sex scenes turn to love scenes by the end of the story, and as a reader I didn’t want them to end.

You don’t want to miss the fabulous journey that Celeste embarks on when she meets up with Pascal. I won’t reveal any secrets because that’s part of the fun with this story.

Mel Teshco doesn’t disappoint with Ice-Cold Lover. I would love to see a follow up story with these characters in the future. Based on this story, I would check out other creations by Mel Teshco.
