Blurb/Summary:

Former army-turned-ER doctor Grace McKinnon is through with going to bed with nothing more than fantasies and a yearning to resurrect her personal life. She’s determined instead to take the Cougar Challenge with a flesh and hot-blooded younger man. She discovers the perfect opportunity steaming up the curtain of exam room four.

Captain Mark Bennington has been locked and loaded—ready for action—since meeting Grace. He’s on a mission to heat up the Boston nights while on leave. This sexy older woman is lighting his way, fulfilling double-time every sex wish he’s ever made. But it’s going to be the toughest fight of his life to convince her to take a chance on more than just a fling.

Review:

This is another book from the Cougar Challenge Series and Samantha Cayto did a great job with the story of Grace, the ex army doctor turned ER doctor, and Mark, her not so nice patient's best friend who is currently on leave to help his friend. Grace offers to help Mark's friend through his rough time, but little does she know Captain Mark wants more than her help. He wants to make all her fantasies come true while he has time to kill on leave.

This is a very hot, steamy story that makes you believe in love at any age or any age difference. You will enjoy the lastest in the Cougar Challenge Series by Samantha Cayto

Blurb/Summary:

A young woman is brutally murdered, her body dropped into the sea and carried by the tides onto the beach at a federal park at the Jersey Shore. Hometown investigators believe the woman simply partied too hard and fell overboard, but FBI Agents David Owens and Anna Parker know better.

David and Anna trace the victim's path from a local adult club to a dangerous and shadowed world that forces them under cover, into performances that awaken their own desires, and draw them closer to the killer. Soon they are racing against a clock set by an unknown enemy, compelled to carry out a plan that not only jeopardizes their lives, but tests their very beliefs, and their newfound love.

Review:

While the story was well written, with a great voice, description, and plenty of action and suspense, I had a hard time with this book because of some of the scenes.

Some were quite intense, but on a good note, it means that the narrative and description is good because I had a strong reaction to it. It was a bit too dark in some places for my liking.

Other than that, I did enjoy the story. Leah St. James pens a dark tale of murder, going undercover, and takes the reader places you wouldn't even imagine. I do like the writing style of this author, and hope to read more.

Blurb/Summary:

Eric S Brown, horror author extraordinaire, takes readers on an Old West adventure of epic proportions. A bookish editor travels to Reaper's Valley, a small town set in the Wild West, to finish the macabre manuscript of a recently-deceased novelist. He arrives by stagecoach, where he is introduced to a classic bevy of characters who will join in the fight against the yellow-eyed demon bodysnatchers overtaking Reaper's Valley. A gun-toting, six-gun blazing tip of the hat to both the horror and Western genres.

Review:

How the West Went to Hell was a wonderfully gruesome tale from the very start. I enjoyed everything about it from the quaint western font beginning each chapter, to its amusing zombie like cowboy cover. The story begins with a prologue a year before describing a demonic possession but leaves the reader in doubt as to whether the correct action was taken.

A year later, we jump to an innocent group of individuals traveling west in a stage coach. Here we hear a “campfire” type tale of horror told by a writer/editor to the coach’s occupants. The editor is headed west to research and complete an unfinished story from another author who was found murdered, possibly ritualistically. From there, the tale continuously gains steam and takes the reader on a horrific journey into realms of horror.

This is an excellent example of a fireside tale brought to life and fleshed out. While not for the faint of heart, Eric S. Brown has created a tale worth reading for fans of the more noir genres.

Review:

Grace is tired of her virgin status and who better to end her problem than her best friends brother Tom.

Tom is in complete shock when Grace shows up on his door step asking him to rid her of her most pressing problem "Her Virginity". When Grace starts to have second thoughts about her proposition Tom is all but ready to help her, but what he doesn't expect is the feelings that she stirs within him.

This is a extremely sexy, and passionate story, with the right amount of tenderness, which will make you fall in love with the characters.

Lisa Bradley has done it again with this great story, if you have not read any of stories this is a great one to start with and you forever will be a fan.

Blurb/Summary:

Archaeologist Beck isn’t expecting much to come out of this summer’s dig. While his colleague spends the summer in Italy, Beck draws the short straw supervising a group of archaeology students excavating on the grounds of Hartington Hall in Yorkshire. Little does Beck realize when he saves a redhead from the attentions of an amorous ram, that this accident-prone female will throw his ordered life into chaos.

The last thing Flick needs in her life is a digger, because some secrets are meant to stay buried. Very deep. But Beck is irresistible. She’d love to get him into bed, though after the incident at the swimming pool, the collapsing wall, the snake bite and the unexploded bomb—a hospital bed looks more likely. As their relationship lurches from one disaster to another, Beck has to delve deep to get to the bottom of this irrepressible redhead.

One thing is clear—you never know quite what you’re going to find when you start digging.

Review:

Digging Deeper is a fantastic funny story of Flick, who is a remarkable woman whose life is full of problems and it only seems to be getting worse.

From taking care of her irresponsible sister putting her through college, to losing her job and working an endless number of odd jobs to make ends meet. So when Flick meets Beck that is exactly what she doesn’t need.

Or is it?

Barbara Elsborg wrote a amazingly funny and sweet story of two people who are very attracted to each other but are not sure is hidden secrets in their lives can be overcome. I went from laughing out loud, to tears filled with emotion of Flick and her troubles.

I absolutely loved this story and recommend it to all you romantics at heart. A definite must read.

Rekindled Love is a great story of true love that even through lives ups and down makes you believe love can conquer all.

Abby is truly in love with Nick and even though she betrayed him, things aren't as they seem. Nick will never get over the betrayal from Abby even though he still loves her dearly. Can he ever truly forgive her when she is still keeping secrets?

Rosemary Indra does an excellent job in this story of making you feel every emotion that Abby and Nick go through. From the suspense of when the arsonist will strike again to the love that they feel for one another. There are emotions running high at all times.

This story is a great read and one I will definitely reread again.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Domination/submission theme and elements, bondage, wax play.

Review:

Causal Fridays is a super hot and super sexy story by Bridget Midway. This is the first time I have read a story by her and I have to say I loved it. She did a great job writing an extremely erotic story of two people whose life in the outside world is completed different to what they hold true to their hearts.

Cherish and Perry are so hot together, you will indeed be fanning yourself off while reading this story. Cherish has to remain in control in her professional life but in her personal life she wants to be controlled, and what better person to handle the job than her assistant Perry.

This story is so hot, it can melt the ink off the pages. This is a story you will most certainly enjoy.
