Review:

Bedroom Eyes by Desiree Holt led me into a heartfelt story of a young woman struggling with self-image caused by the cultivation of years of cruel words, looks and the way people react to disfigurement.  Bridget deserves her shinning night and no one was happier than I when she found a way to live her life’s greatest desire even if she went about it in an underhanded way.  I both understood her need for her faceless identity and felt sad that she couldn’t trust Clay with her secret need to hide herself away.  I loved the foundation that helped her and the words of wisdom that came her way that all might not turn out as she planned.

Clay grabbed me from the start.  I love those who protect our country and he was a top of the line perfect hero for this heroine, even though she didn’t see it at the time.  I knew deep down what she considered her disfigurement wouldn’t have made him turn from her.  I’d loved to have seen him hold her hand during the procedure and to know that there’s more to love than what’s physical.  Their connection in that one night of passion and their reconnection proved that chemistry is based on just more than what can be seen with the bare eye.  Lord for a moment I thought he wouldn’t forgive her and my heart just plummeted.  This story made me cry, made me laugh and exhausted me, but it’ll be a memorable one.  I can’t wait to read the next instalment of the Skin Deep series.

Holt always crafts her characters so well, and the sizzling suspense just gets hotter and hotter with the turn of each page. How this author creates story after story in such a short time is amazing, but I enjoy reading Holt's suspense very much.

Add in some breathtaking love scenes, suspense, and mystery and that sums up Lust By Moonlight. It is the second book in a series, and I will definitely be looking for the first. Reading Mark and Chloe's story engaged me from the start. The sexual tension between the two is hotter than the desert in summertime.

This story was chalk full of action, legends and a person’s worse fear. It was also filled with a longing that needed fulfillment and a lust so deep it turned into something more profound.

Dakota and Jonah sure had a journey on them and it made my heart soar to watch them find one another while ferreting out with assistance the beast on a killing rampage.

I couldn’t put it down once I began reading!

Emily and her friends find themselves stranded in a small town, no idea what to do. Emily is hired on as a cook, even though she doesn't do so very well, and is attracted to Wyatt. Though I don't agree with one of the things Wyatt does in the story, I found him to be fairly likeable.

The story in itself is a good one, with laugh out loud moments, witty and sarcastic dialogue. This is the first book in a series.

The story is very well written, and a fast paced love story that grabs a hold of you in the beginning, allowing you to feel every emotion they go through. If you are looking for a quick, steamy, fun read, you need to grab this one.

Desiree Holt and Allie Sandiffer did a great job with this story. I can't wait to read more from both authors.
