Mythology buff Quinn Morris has always wanted to visit Greece, where her inner hardcore romantic envisioned proposing to her boyfriend. And she's finally here--with her friend Ingrid. She might not have found love at the Parthenon, thanks to her cheating ex, but she has found big boobies...and swirly purple eyes...and sparkling skin. Oh, and Greek hottie Khristos, who claims to be descended from a goddess and swears Quinn's the new Aphrodite.

With help from Khristos, and support from Ingrid's employers--Nina, Wanda, and Marty--Quinn has to learn all the tricks of the matchmaking trade, STAT, lest she has her new friend Cupid sticking arrows in all the wrong places. All while dealing with her man-hating mother, guarding her own heart from Khristos, and protecting herself from an invisible foe who might want to snatch
Quinn's newfound powers from her--dead or alive.

Review:

Once again Dakota Cassidy does not fail to suck the reader in on the first page of her latest book in the Accidental Series.  Accidentally Aphrodite is a fun story with a great plot, amazing new characters, and non-stop action and drama from beginning to end.

Dakota Cassidy takes creative license and puts a new spin on the Greek gods and goddesses.  The author cleverly sets some backstory so that the Greeks are ingrained into the Accidental family history.  We are also treated to all the main characters of the other Accidental books in this story which of course means hilarity ensues.

Quinn Morris is the latest victim of a paranormal accident and she takes it in stride with lots of deflection and humor.  It was fun to see Quinn grow and evolve throughout the story from a vengeful ex-girlfriend to Aphrodite the goddess of love.

Khristos is the hero of the story that helps Quinn through the paranormal and emotional trauma of becoming Aphrodite.  Khristos too learns more about himself and what it is he wants out of life during his time mentoring Quinn.

Readers are kept on edge as to whether Quinn and Khristos will become a match.  Will they let their pasts get in the way of their future?  Will love prevail for our hero and heroine?  I’m not telling.  Go purchase the book.  The reading journey is worth it as I was unable to put it down until I was finished.

Accidentally Aphrodite is a fabulous edition to the Accidental Series!

Summary:

Valentine Arabesques and Adagios by JT Seate- Matthew is a hardworking ballet student. Danielle is the ballet instructor happy to have an alpha male in her troupe. Before an upcoming Valentine’s Day performance, their passions flare in the secrecy of her studio. Two heated rendezvous lead Danielle on a quest that takes her to a village in Spain where a shocking revelation awaits. There she experiences the sweet life in such a way as to change her fortunes forever. Who says life can’t successfully imitate art?

Martyr of the Flaminian Gate by Kayden McLeod- In the time of the Roman Empire, it was declared that no solider would marry to distract him from battle and duty to the Emperor. Jacobus de Voragine hears these orders, but does not heed them. He seeks out the priest, Saint Valentine to wed him to Petronia. This decision of ultimate devotion causes them both unimaginable adversities, which will try their eternal love in more ways than they could possibly imagine.

One Night in Aphrodite's Panties by Ashlynn Monroe- Dateless again for Valentine's Day, Zoe Lane's annoyingly dating endowed sister regifts a book to her. It's an intriguing book that seems to be written by the goddess Aphrodite. Aphrodite is annoyed. Mortals no longer worship her and the thankless holiday leaves her exhausted. Zoe’s bitter feelings mirror the goddess’s own and soon Zoe receives an offer she literally can’t refuse. For the first time in her life, she feels completely free to express her sexuality. Finding herself in the goddess’s panties…err…shoes; Zoe learns being the goddess of love isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Review:

Captured....Heart and Soul features three great stories and is very well written.

In A Night in Aphrodite’s Panties, Ashlynn Monroe has created a wonderfully fun and loveable character in Zoe Lane. She had me laughing one minute and cheering Zoe on the next. As Zoe decides to dive into the book her sister pass off on her as a gift, she is shocked and at somewhat at a stage of shock when she encounters the goddess Aphrodite. At first Aphrodite is extremely mad and tired of mortals taking her for granted. She decides to let Zoe switch places with her for the night. In the process they both discover things about each other that they never knew.

Kayden McLeod, draws you in to the timeless love story of Jacobus and Petronia. Their love story is so heartfelt and makes you truly believe in soul mates and happily ever after. I truly enjoyed The Martyr of the Flaminian Gate. As you start your journey with Jacobus and Petronia in the Roman Empire, you see the hardships they must face with their beautiful daughter, Aelia. Together, father and daughter jump to the current year to find the struggles Petronia faces alone, while she is fighting to remember what has happened and who she is. But with the support of Jacobus, she will be able to rekindle a love that was once considered lost.

In, Valentine Arabesques and Adagios, by JT Seate, you are drawn into an excellent story where life can be so close to art. Danielle is dance instructor, who finds herself so very attracted to her younger student Matthew. When they start preparing for the upcoming dance production, their passions ignite and spiral toward a sensual dance of intimacy that will have you daydreaming for days to come. When Danielle ends up in Spain, she comes to terms with these things happening in her life that can change everything she once knew, to something she could never have dreamed of.

Captured...Heart and Soul is a fantastic combination of three great authors who will not disappoint. All the stories are so well written, it will definitely have you wanting to check out all these authors have to offer.
