Blurb/Summary:

Sarah is looking for a way to please a difficult boss. Alex is looking for a new life. In a moment of drunken madness, Alex puts his life up for sale on an online auction site. When Sarah’s work team places the winning bid, it might be the solution to all their problems… or just the start of a whole new set of difficulties.

Review:

While the premise sounded interesting, I felt that the storyline and characters weren't fully developed. I didn't connect well with Sarah and felt like I didn't fully know what was going on inside her head. The ending seemed to wrap up in a hurry, and sometimes the storyline jumped around and left me confused. Some editing issues also took my focus away from the story.

The cover is amazing and eye catching. Despite the mentioned above, I liked it.

There were many doors that closed for the heroine, Sarah, but it left for more openings. At times, Sarah didn't seem comfortable in her own skin, but meeting Alex began to change that. I saw a lot of character grown in both Sarah and Alex. Desperate Bid is a short read, and overall pretty good.
